Bringing out Sunna's Angels of Delusion Little Cake look from Zenless Zone Zero involved dedicated effort to strike the right balance between sweetness and an edgy vibe. Starting with hair and makeup, the pale mint-green twintail wig had to be styled with airy volume and defined hair flow to prevent it from looking stiff. I teased and padded the roots, reinforcing the green pointed horn accessory on the right so it stayed upright from any angle before the lens. For eye makeup, a generous reddish blend swept outward across the lids and under the lower lash line, which paired with green contacts to project an aggressive yet adorable charm. The pink choker with colorful jingle bells and the pink lettered chest patch added wonderful nuance to the styling.

The costume's structure was more intricate than expected: pink-and-white color-blocking, crisscrossed corset ties, and varied bows and ribbons meant taking considerable time to adjust tension so nothing shifted during poses. White over-the-knee Stockings featuring yellow stripes paired with a baby-blue thigh ring flatteringly sculpted the leg lines. To stay true to the character's demeanor, I chose white high-heeled pumps; while walking across the set grew tiring, the elongated silhouette was well worth it.

The set was an industrial-themed abandoned warehouse studio: yellow scaffolding, heavy iron chains, black oil drums, and discarded cups combined with vivid blue and cyan neon backlights to form an authentic cyberpunk setting. Lighting was the core highlight: given the busy ambient light, I coordinated with the photographer to establish cool-toned rim lights while filling the face with warm yellow illumination. This not only isolated the subject cleanly from the dark backdrop, but also kept the pink and white fabrics bright and crisp under the cool hues. I particularly loved watching the blue reflections sheen across the black oil barrels, adding subtle tonal layers to the frames.

Posing adjustments were crucial throughout the shoot. Seated on the iron drums, I leaned slightly back, crossing one leg and pointing my toes to visually elongate my proportions before the camera. Utilizing crates and props, resting my chin on my hands, or reaching for sunglasses built narrative flair. One shot featured holding heart-shaped sunglasses beside my cheek, breaking up facial symmetry while boosting prop interaction. Occasionally gesturing at the camera or casting a blank, detached gaze off-center delivered distinct emotional currents. For subtle styling, small black triangular hairpins brought an extra anime touch in tight close-ups. Because the fabrics had low sheen, they diffused light softly without harsh overexposure. The shoot was a continuous collaboration with the photographer to discover angles best showcasing the outfit and the character's persona. Balancing the hardcore backdrop with sweet attire captured Sunna's signature allure, yielding a finished series that thoroughly fulfilled my vision in both color tension and textural fidelity.
