This Angels of Delusion themed Sunna cosplay adopts a classic pink-and-white color palette in visual styling while incorporating elements of a black mini skirt and leg garters; this striking contrast of colors is key to making the outfit pop. The white puff-sleeve shirt paired with a red star tie, along with the black hairpins on top and mint-green twin tails, creates a playful aura perfectly suited to the character's traits.
Before the shoot, the leg details required the most careful consideration. The pink-and-white striped loose socks, complemented by a pink studded leg garter on one side and a black leather leg garter on the other, present very strong lines on camera. To accentuate this design, I specifically adjusted my center of gravity when posing, keeping my leg muscles as relaxed as possible so the contours appeared softer against the white plush carpet. The pink backpack, the magic wand in hand, and the white wings prop behind were all coordinated in matching tones, making the overall styling even more cohesive.
The shooting location was a pink-and-white dream-style studio in Guangzhou. The white piano backdrop and pink floral arrangements provided a wonderful foundation for high-key lighting. During the shoot, the photographer made on-the-fly angle adjustments based on the set layout. For example, leaning forward while reaching out not only elongates the legs visually but also beautifully reveals the layered texture of the mini skirt and loose socks, while keeping the face at a flattering angle. Since the calves were enveloped in loose socks, I had to tidy up the folds every few shots to prevent them from slipping down and ruining the look—a bit tedious, but essential for the final image quality.
Additionally, in brighter lighting scenes, the compatibility between the color contacts and facial makeup underwent repeated testing. Pairing pink-toned eye makeup with the mint-green wig required ensuring that the bangs did not obstruct my vision, preserving a lively and dynamic gaze. The pose design for this shoot revolved around youthful, girlish energy; standing on one leg and glancing back over the shoulder were meant to showcase the dynamic beauty of the outfit from different perspectives. Throughout the photoshoot, wigs, props, and posture all needed equal attention. Although the preparation was exhausting, seeing the pink, white, and black costume details blend seamlessly into the dreamy setting made the day's schedule completely rewarding.
