Shooting this set of Soul Land Bai Chenxiang photos, the focus was placed on capturing the character's lively yet sharp and heroic temperament. To fit the setting, I specifically chose an indoor glass corridor with ample natural light as the shooting location. Afternoon sunlight shone through floor-to-ceiling glass directly onto me; though slightly strong, it perfectly outlined the textures and highlights of the silver-white boots and the metal straps and buckles on the outfit. This high-key lighting added a lot of brightness and translucency to the final photos.

The design of this costume emphasizes layering. First is the wig color: a cool-toned light purple was chosen, paired with bangs trimmed and two side braids tied into low twin pigtails, accurately restoring character traits. For makeup, I deliberately elongated the eyeliner and matched it with purple contact lenses to make the gaze look focused and sharp. The top features an off-shoulder and waist-revealing design, providing moderate breathing room, with loose white long sleeves drooping on both sides adorned with silver-gray buttons that add dynamic motion when moving. Below is a light purple asymmetrical geometric skirt; the staggered hemline looks very lively. The black leather double-layer straps at the waist are also a key element enhancing overall look completion.

The bottom details actually required the most effort to style in this Cosplay outfit. The purple-gray semi-sheer stockings had to look slimming while clearly revealing the skirt hem's texture, paired with black leather straps and silver metal buckles above the thighs and knees to give leg lines a capable, powerful feel. The footwear consists of silver block-heeled short boots; while visually eye-catching with a metallic sheen under sunlight, they felt heavy to wear, posing quite a test for balance. However, for the final output, the hard work was completely worth it.

During posing, I made use of the spacious venue for stretched movements, such as a single-leg standing pose—since leg lines, the snug fit of stockings, and silver high-heeled boots serve as major visual anchors for the entire look, this stance maximized those details. A side squat required managing weight transfers, maintaining an upright upper body while letting the skirt spread naturally to prevent exposure while preserving flowing lightness. Meanwhile, fist-clenching and blocking poses reinforced the character's combat attribute.

The shooting process went smoother than expected; despite blinding sunlight, it provided fantastic natural color tuning. Every time reflector lights flashed, I had to adjust my posture quickly to sync with the shutter.
