For this summer photoshoot, I chose a garden in early summer to shoot Chihiro, wishing to recreate that slightly mysterious atmosphere wrapped in nature. The first photo in front of the pine tree actually aims to capture her cautious, tentative feeling when she first enters the Aburaya (Bathhouse); fingers slightly raised, with a hint of curiosity and uncertainty in her eyes. The poses in the second photo under the red corridor are much more relaxed, bringing out a sense of familiarity, as if returning home. The sunlight spills onto the pillars of the ancient building, casting long shadows. I think the composition and light of this shot best match Chihiro's gradual growth in the world of Spirited Away.

Moving to the third photo, set deep within a bamboo forest, the light filters through the bamboo leaves onto my face and clothes, making me feel completely immersed in the cool of summer. For this shoot, I put some thought into choosing the red for the costume, specially picking a fabric with an orange undertone, hoping it would make the skin look fairer than the original and carry more summer warmth. The makeup is simple and clean, emphasizing the spirit of the eyes to strive for a clear gaze. In this scene where greenery and vermilion intertwine, I tried to completely immerse myself into that brave girl, feeling her process of gradually becoming stronger in a world full of bizarre events. This kind of Anime-style photography that fully interacts with the environment always allows one to more deeply understand the inner world of the character.
