Today, I cosplayed Chihaya Anon on a rooftop, and this outfit is packed with intricate details. From the ruffles and zipper on the cropped dark-blue denim jacket to the asymmetrical white midi skirt, I styled it with chunky black platform combat boots and a choker to capture the character's blend of cool attitude and spirited vitality. For props, this mint-green electric guitar is an absolute showstopper—its color is remarkably fresh and vibrant, carrying genuine weight in hand. The weather was pristine today; the backdrop of clear blue skies and drifting white clouds was simply made for outdoor photography. The wind was quite strong, and whenever it swept through the pink wig, we captured some wonderfully organic, candid frames. Finding natural guitar-playing angles was honestly tricky since I'm not a professional musician, so I specifically studied Anon's fingering techniques from the anime, striving to emulate that slightly raw yet passionately enthusiastic vibe—practicing pressing my fingers against the frets multiple times beforehand. The sun was a bit glaring during the shoot, but the finished interplay of light and shadow turned out deeply satisfying. The view from the rooftop was lovely, with the distant city skyline blurred into soft bokeh in the background, creating the cinematic essence of a youthful high school band vocalist.

Afterward, we transitioned to the street for a few more shots. Utilizing pedestrian crossings, yellow-and-black bollards, and street signs as foreground elements, striding forward in platform boots genuinely brought out that cool street-band aesthetic. Sitting by the curb holding the black gig bag, or crossing the street clutching the guitar case while flashing a peace sign, truly made me feel immersed in that relaxed after-school rehearsal routine. The gig bag is quite sizable, creating a charmingly adorable contrast when slung across my back. Moving from the bright, crisp clarity of the rooftop to the everyday ambient lighting of the street, I really adore this photo series—it not only highlights the costume and props clearly, but also brings forth the character's buoyant energy and effortless cool. To capture this high-key, refreshing aesthetic, I recommend shooting on a clear afternoon around 3 or 4 PM when the sunlight softens slightly, using a wide-angle lens to make the open sky feel vast and limitless.
