Completing this sailor-style seaside location photoshoot under strong direct sunlight, the overall raw photo texture is more solid than imagined. The costume chosen this time is a classic high-waisted short top paired with a white pleated skirt, featuring the iconic large sailor collar and a pink contrasting bowtie. The details of the four golden buttons on the chest were specially confirmed before shooting to ensure the entire outfit looks visually neat and sharp. Because the outdoor light was extremely intense, this high-saturation blue and white color scheme looks exceptionally refreshing under the sun, forming a natural visual balance with the open ocean scenery in the background.

Regarding the wig part, this double-braided style is actually extremely easy to get messed up by the sea breeze during an outdoor shoot. To maintain the naturally cascading curvature at the ends, I used quite a bit of hairspray and bobby pins to secure it, while trying my best not to intentionally flatten the volume on top of the head; retaining a bit of an air layer looks more natural and agile. The sea breeze frequently blew the hair strands, and the moments captured by the camera snapshot feature real flying hair, which is actually much more vivid than the effect blown by a fan in a studio, full of a casual sense of daily life.

The shooting environment was chosen on the seawall and rocky beach beside the highway. The light gray concrete ground and black metal guardrails formed an excellent cool-toned background, which better highlights the character's bright clothing. In particular, a section of an orange traffic cone next to us accidentally broke the pure cool color scheme of the frame as an accent color, making the overall composition more layered. The distant sea surface reflects light very strongly under the midday sun, and the scattered sailboats on the water also keep the background from looking monotonous.

In terms of the action design, I tried my best to utilize body extensions to elongate the figure. For example, a single-leg standing pose holding a white paper windmill, and a stretched action with open arms and a raised foot can visually elongate the lower body proportions. The pose leaning against the railing while making a heart sign switches the perspective, giving the frame a more approachable feel. The texture of the white stockings presents a very clean matte effect under the sunlight of this photo set, and the light blue stripe at the sock opening happens to echo the color of the upper garment—this color logic feels very comfortable in the final photos. The matching black chunky-heeled Mary Janes have a certain height, allowing the shoe soles to stabilize the center of gravity when contacting the ground, while the retro feel brought by the chunky heel forms a subtle balance with the youthful spirit of the sailor uniform.

In some backlit side-view standing poses, the shimmering waves of the sea surface acted as a natural highlight reflection onto the character's side profile and skirt edges, creating a very natural rim light. Compared to harsh reflector fill-lighting, this natural light brings better diffuse reflection softness. The cut of the sleeves and collar can beautifully showcase the transitions of the upper body curves when turning sideways and looking back, without looking overly tight. The pleats of the pleated skirt are arranged quite neatly; even when slightly raised under the sea breeze, the lines of the skirt hem remain very clear. Although the props matched with this entire look are simple, the spinning of the windmill and the extension of the arms just respond to the refreshing and bright atmosphere of the summer seaside, without too much artificiality. The overall feeling throughout the shoot was quite smooth.
