[Cirno cosplay] September 9th (⑨), Touhou Project Summer Forest exterior Snapshots

On September 9th (⑨), I specially brought out and retouched this May Touhou Project Cirno cosplay Forest exterior photo set. Since today is this special day, submitting some work is only fitting. The outfit and props were prepared for quite a long time; the crystal shard props are crafted with great detail, casting gorgeous light flare reflections under bright sunlight.

On the shooting day back in May, the weather was already getting warm. Shuttle-running through the woods wearing this blue-and-white puffy dress, sporting the wig and Elf ears along with all those rigid props was truly exhausting. Sweating constantly tested the makeup, but because the overall look fit the character so perfectly, I gritted my teeth and pushed through.

This photo set was taken on a forest trail covered with grass and fallen leaves, featuring some rustic stone steps on the ground. Photographer Master Fengzi Yun patiently searched for camera angles, catching a sunbeam filtering through the tree canopy just in time to land right on the skirt's lace and White stockings. Although this character is often affectionately called a little fool, I still dedicated considerable thought to the fine details during shooting and editing.

Post-processing did not involve overly drastic modifications; it focused mainly on adjusting the overall color tone to make the light softer while highlighting the texture of the crystal props. I also did my best to preserve the character's innocent yet slightly boastful demeanor. Sharing this little leftover set from May today is also a way to commemorate the wonderful weather we had on that shoot. Cosplay photography is inherently troublesome yet joyful—putting in a bit of sweat to capture such beautiful frames makes every minute completely worthwhile.
