Directly sharing this set of Kasugano Sora cosplay photos in her vintage school uniform. The shooting environment was very basic—just indoor white walls, light wood flooring, and a white door on the left, with no extra complex set dressing. This minimalist spatial pairing actually suited highlighting the refreshing and casual student vibe of the vintage school uniform extremely well.

The upper body features a long-sleeved off-white shirt with a basic collar design and slightly loose cuffs, paired with a dark brown plaid pleated miniskirt for a classic campus atmosphere. To keep the lower half from looking dull, I chose a black and grey tights outfit to soften the colors, matched with the glossy black loafers on my feet. The patent leather texture of the loafers reflected light beautifully, creating a distinct material contrast against the soft skin-revealing sheer look of the tights. On my head was a light-colored twintail wig, bound on each side with long black ribbons; this hairstyle took some time to adjust so the ribbons would drape naturally while maintaining a sense of lightness.

For props, I prepared a dark grey long-eared rabbit plushie with a black-and-white ribbon tied around its neck. Holding it added a sense of weight without stealing the focus away from the outfit. When shooting, I chose the first photo as the cover image because the body posture was relatively stretched out: one leg tucked under, the other extending straight toward the front diagonal to form a leading line on the wooden floor, while my left hand naturally rested on the wooden floor near the door frame. Under the lens, this pose elongated the leg silhouette, nicely presenting both the texture of the tights and the contours of the loafers. By comparison, the second pose sitting cross-legged, though appearing sweeter while hugging the rabbit, lacked the direct visual impact of the extended movement in the first shot.

Throughout doing this cosplay, what required the most effort wasn't complex accessories, but rather the naturalness of the wig and the drape of the shirt and skirt folds. Very often, the simpler the clothing, the more it tests the overall coordination and posture maintenance. The characteristic of this vintage school uniform is that it lacks extravagant embroidery or accessories; thus, every item from shoes, socks, and hair ribbons needs to achieve color harmony across the whole body. I specifically paid attention to the positioning of my ankles and shoes, letting the shiny loafers catch subtle light reflections to elevate the refined quality of the photo.

Many people enjoy outdoor shoots filled with fantasy elements, but I personally feel this kind of home photoshoot cosplay has its own unique charm. Through the simplest environment, you can focus attention directly on the character's aura. I've always felt this character possesses a quiet, stubborn trait; using clean visuals like white walls and wooden flooring as a base actually stays quite close to the understated 2D daily life atmosphere of the original work.

This time, from the wig, outfit, and shoes to the props, the overall completion met expectations. In particular, the dark grey plushie and black and grey tights outfit achieved a nice color harmony, keeping the overall composition free of jarring points. By tweaking the angles of the seated posture, it balanced a relaxed 2D daily life state with capturing the visual highlight of smooth leg lines, resulting in a final set that is simple yet durable to look at.
