【Lucy cosplay】Cyberpunk: Edgerunners: Cyber Girl Languidly Smoking in a Lunar Reverie - Image 1

Shooting Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners this time, the primary challenge lay in accurately conveying that cool, detached, yet languid disposition. Regarding makeup, I deliberately deepened the orbital contours around the eyes, paired with a pastel pinkish-white long straight wig with layered bangs to align the styling with her rebellious, enigmatic essence. The wardrobe centered on a high-gloss reflective black bodysuit, spliced with white sleeve cuffs along the arms and paired with tall boots, carving out sharp black-and-white visual contrast.

The set was an indoor studio blending lunar surface textures with deep-sea lighting aesthetics, where rugged wall reliefs caught the light to reveal textured, mottled layers. During the shoot, I reclined diagonally across a leather sofa, tilting my torso back with chin slightly lifted, exhaling vape vapor to craft drifting, hazy clouds. To match the Cyberpunk style world-building, the gaffer deployed extensive cool-toned blue and violet light sources, lined with dual red and green rim lights tracing the edges of the subject. This not only chiseled out the bodily silhouette, but also heightened three-dimensional depth across facial features.

In post-production, I manually overlaid chromatic rectangular artifacts in the spirit of Glitch Art, emulating the unstable signal of a hologram or a malfunctioning digital screen. This RGB chromatic aberration is an indispensable signature of the Cyberpunk 2077 aesthetic. Many asked how to infuse a static photo with dynamic breathing room: the secret lies in vapor dissipation and light refraction. Capturing the instant smoke scatters under harsh rim lights, paired with half-lidded, weary eyes, faithfully communicates the character's signature blend of exhaustion, disorientation, and rebellious defiance. The entire session tested physical endurance and intense focus, but seeing the subject dissolve seamlessly into cyberspace made every trial and recalibration completely worthwhile.
