Coordinating with the Wuthering Waves and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration theme this time, I chose Lucy, a character who left a deep imprint on Night City, for this set of photos. In the initial makeup and styling design, the color and gradient of the wig alone were repeatedly adjusted several times. Ultimately, I settled on a scheme transitioning from cool silver-white to mint green, with a touch of warm orange highlighted at the hair ends, creating incredibly rich visual layers under the studio lights. For the makeup part, I emphasized the elongation of the eyeliner and did a small area of bright orange blending at the outer corners of the eyes. This not only fits the character's cyberpunk setting but also forms a sharp contrast with the cool white skin tone of the base makeup.

The techwear style of the overall outfit is highly prominent. The main black-and-white jacket utilizes high-gloss PU leather in its material selection, combined with the red spliced lines in the middle, beautifully echoing those scenes full of mechanical texture and a dangerous aura from the anime. The black tactical belt and strap design at the waist highly test body proportions, but the crisp, clean feel after putting it on is truly wonderful. For props, I prepared a figure-scale pistol and an e-cigarette. Through these small items, they helped me immerse into the character's state much faster during the shoot, moving beyond simply striking poses to truly playing a living, breathing person.

During the shooting process, to present a more visually dynamic picture, the photographer specifically applied a light-streaking effect, adding some unreplicable light and shadow trails to the originally minimalist gray studio background. Whether it was the smooth light wrapping around in the first shot or the static moment of aiming the gun in the middle, it perfectly blended Lucy's calmness and sense of danger together. I also tried different poses, such as sitting on the white square pillar of the Miku Studio or leaning against the edge of a wooden table, feeling that different scenes could spark different emotional facets of the character.

As a Cyberpunk cosplay attempt, combining Wuthering Waves' post-apocalyptic sci-fi feel with Edgerunners' street neon vibe was actually a process of finding common ground between the two. For instance, the high-light reflections on the outfit would refract a blue-purple halo under specific angles of lighting, which was a pleasant surprise unexpected during the initial makeup test. While striving to restore character details, we also tried to preserve the texture of the photography itself as much as possible. I think only in this way can the final work have not only a high level of accuracy but also aesthetic value for Cosplay photography. This shoot turned out to be a highly professional and pleasant collaboration. Being able to exhibit Lucy's aloofness and determination in front of the lens is already the greatest satisfaction of this creative endeavor.
