This time, I'm bringing you Little Mermaid from the Goddess of Victory: Nikke maid series. A lot of thought went into this outfit from design to completion; the accents of mint green and light purple balance the somber feel of the black and white main palette, giving the maid costume a refreshing sense of breathability. The stripes on the bowtie, the splicing of the skirt hem, and the ruffles on the thigh ring—every tiny detail does its best to restore the character's lively temperament. Special thanks to Teacher Heishou for the snapshots; the lighting is very gentle, and the wooden background bookshelf and teddy bear create that vintage and slightly fairytale-like corner atmosphere. The biggest challenge for this look was actually managing the cat-ear headband on the head and the long hair; the cyan gradient at the ends of the wig had to be repeatedly adjusted to look natural. However, seeing that playful yet slightly lazy feel in the final photos makes me feel that everything was completely worth it. During the shoot, I tried several different interactive perspectives, such as holding a gift box with a red bow and sitting down relaxed by the table, all to convey this character's unique approachability. The costume was provided by Dimension Radio; the overall tailoring fits very well and it's very comfortable to wear, without affecting my range of movement. In terms of post-processing, we basically retained the warm yellow tones of the original photos without over-modifying, striving to present the most authentic side of the cosplay. I hope everyone can feel the passion of this creation from these photos, which is also a sincere expression of my feelings for this character.
