Ave Mujica is getting a movie! The news came so suddenly that I spent last night tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep as intense scenes from the anime flashed through my mind. Riding this wave of excitement, I finally pulled out the group photoshoot files stored away for nearly two months—it's time to archive these memories of Ave Mujica into my anime lifestyle.

Looking back at that night shoot, everyone was in peak state. We scheduled the shoot for nighttime at a super atmospheric carousel location. What made it incredible was the local red lighting. The red light struck vintage golden and blue decorative frames, reflecting a texture both decadent and luxurious. Wearing Uika's red-and-black gothic style cosplay outfit complete with a vintage corset and lantern sleeves, I felt completely immersed in the character's emotion. The black-and-red palette didn't look cluttered under intense environmental red lights; instead, it blended seamlessly with the dark gothic vibe, filling photos captured in these lights with raw emotional tension.

The photographer's candid capture skills were top-tier. Before rolling, we chatted about how red ambient light suited the band's heavy yet brilliant lore. During night photography, to recreate that poster look where five members are connected yet distinct, we stood staggered around the carousel—some leaning on horses, others holding props. My groupmates—Mutsumi, Sakiko, Nyamu, and Umika—were amazing, coordinating positions and locking poses without a single complaint. I'm especially thrilled with Photo 5: in the foreground, a black-haired teammate holding a silver longsword exudes pure aura, while a blonde partner beside her has a fluttering skirt frozen mid-motion with translucent white tulle, paired with white stockings and black high heels for intense visual focus. That instant truly felt like a stage performance from BanG Dream!.

I pondered the character of Misumi Uika for a long time; portraying someone shining on stage yet delicate in private requires subtle body language. For instance, pairing black boots with multi-layered white lace skirts and blue-black twin tails under red lighting creates a convincing illusion of a stage idol. Shooting late into the night, wild grass on the ground contrasted sharply with intricate carousel roof patterns. Capturing group shots under such lighting demands heavy equipment settings—the photographer kept tweaking parameters to ensure all five faces were well-lit with clear facial contours, distinct from plain silhouette lighting. Though background horses overexposed into glowing shapes under harsh lights, it added a dreamlike sense of dynamic motion.

Indeed, while I've done many styles, completing a group photoshoot with such complete artistic cohesion alongside like-minded friends is truly rare. Holding off publishing until now was partly to refine the edits, and partly to wait for the perfect moment. With the theatrical movie announcement dropping, this feels so fitting. Looking at everyone's costume textures, wig pairings, and boundless night glimmers in the final edits, it feels less like taking photos and more like stepping briefly into that universe. These scattered lights and frozen moments are the most cherished treasures of my anime journey.
