[Sakiko Toyokawa cosplay] BanG Dream! Blue Phantom and Gothic Still Night

Sharing this Sakiko Toyokawa cosplay work, I chose a dark Gothic vibe for the overall style that matches my own temperament and the work's atmosphere. The focus of this shoot is not only the costume restoration but also expressing the intertwining traits of tranquility and coldness in the character. The wig uses a slightly curly light ice blue, and the headpiece features a black bunny ear design adorned with small golden metal decorations, ensuring the overall silhouette isn't too monotonous. The skirt is a black velvet ruffled style accented with light and dark blue ribbons; paired with black over-the-knee stockings and star-patterned shoes, it presents a unique texture under the main blue lighting. The gloves are also short all-black ones, adding elegance to hand movements.

The shooting location featured two different setups. In the first photo, I chose to lie on the ground; a vintage wooden desk held ceramic cups, saucers, and an open book, while a small blue-framed mirror added a touch of mysterious everyday feel. White flowers fell casually on the floor, and black cloth paired with blue light created a space laid out in cool tones. The second photo was taken on a dark carved hollow high-back chair, where the complex texture of the backrest echoes the black clothing. Regarding lighting, we mainly used cool blue light as the base, giving an impression of the night or an illusory space. The diagonal composition of the first photo perfectly showcases the leg lines and boot shape; the visual effect of the stockings is particularly prominent here and contrasts nicely with the skirt's folds. The second photo focuses on the upper body and the posture of holding the white flowers, where the gesture of folded hands grasping the bouquet conveys a restrained, gentle feeling.

The shooting process actually requires close attention to the wig and skirt arrangement, especially when using high or low angles. The composition and edge processing must be handled carefully to keep the character's state on point. For makeup, I deliberately enhanced the eyes using cool-toned eyeshadows similar to the hair color, making the gaze look deeper and more distant. Coupled with the theme of \"Fear Not Forgetting\", I feel the image conveys a tranquil sense of going against the current and fearing no time. To me, cosplay is not just about wearing costumes, but more like a temporary stay in the character's heart. Capturing aspects of that character the moment the shutter clicks is also my way of maintaining an Anime Life Archive. This set of photos accurately records the lighting and mood at that time, and I hope everyone can feel the visual atmosphere I wanted to express.
