This is the tactical styling official photoset for Delta Force Luna, with an overall style combining a hardcore military vibe and anime design. When I got this costume setting, what attracted me most was the black leather baseball cap with cat ears and the crisp black-and-white outfit coordination logic, which perfectly matches the capable and sleek image of the tactical female soldiers in Delta Force.
The clothing material features classic black matte leather, with a thick protective structure at the inner neckline. The leather texture looks incredible under the studio's blue lights, beautifully outlining the upper body silhouette. The lower body is paired with white tight tactical pants, with a hexagonal honeycomb mesh patch integrated into the outer side of the pant legs. This detail is a major plus, providing both breathability and a mecha feel. The black tactical straps on the thighs are one of the visual highlights, beautifully dividing the color blocks of the white pants and making the overall body proportions look more slender. The thick-soled black tactical short boots on my feet are very practical, providing highly stable traction when posing in complex terrain scenes (such as stepping on an old sofa or a green ammo crate).
The props prepared this time are two replica firearms: one heavy rifle equipped with tactical rails and a scope, and the other a heavy pistol as a sidearm. Neither gun is light, especially when holding the long rifle, which requires arm and core strength to stabilize the center of gravity. When shooting single-person gun-raising and single-knee kneeling gun-holding poses, the photographer and I repeatedly adjusted the muzzle orientation and the body's tilt angle, just to make the entire posture look battle-ready yet relaxed and natural. The pistol was used more for backward glances and side close-up shots, which can better display the details on the tactical gloves and the finger grip.
The studio set layout was built with great care, filled with a wasteland industrial aura. The background is a texturized, mottled blue graffiti wall covered in marker slogans, with red gas barrels and military-green wooden ammunition boxes stacked beside it, hemp ropes scattered in the corner, and a weathered brown leather sofa placed right in the center. This environment perfectly fits the warzone backdrop in Delta Force. For lighting, we selected a cyberpunk-skewed cool blue tone, paired with a massive amount of artificial smoke, filling the entire space with the oppressive and mysterious feeling of a pre-battle assembly. The smoke swirling around the prop weapons and the person added a strong blockbuster texture to the frame.
The shooting process was actually quite exhausting because the leather suit is not breathable, and coupled with the illumination of the blue spotlights, the studio was very muggy. With the scope added, the long rifle's center of gravity shifted forward; maintaining a single-handed gun-raising motion heavily tested core strength and center-of-gravity control. We designed several sets of movements, including holding a gun while sitting sideways on the sofa, and the instant of drawing a gun in a standing pose, where the gaze must remain cool and focused. To avoid looking stiff, I had to constantly remember to tighten my core to keep my back straight, while paying attention to my facial expression management.
During post-processing, we tried our best to preserve the leather texture of the clothing and the white reflections of the pants, without over-softening or adding random special effects. The high-contrast black-and-white color scheme stood out immensely against the blue background, giving people a cold and professional visual feel. This tactical-style Game cosplay shoot counts as one of my favorite recent works; the costume texture, prop details, and set atmosphere all cooperated beautifully, successfully recreating Delta Force Luna's sharp combat state via this piece of military style photography.
