Happy Birthday, Little March! As the cosplayer of this outfit, recording this birthday-themed image on March 7th, her special day, carries a wonderful sense of ritual. The overall inspiration for today's set is parties and celebrations, so I not only prepared the character's regular attire but also integrated small elements exclusive to this Cosplay birthday greeting, such as the cone-shaped party hat with a colorful reflective texture on the side of her head, and several small gift boxes tied with bows scattered in the frame.
Regarding the costume styling, the focus of this restoration is the blue-and-white outer robe and inner lining. The top is a well-fitting white collared shirt, paired with a black choker and a small purple bowtie at the collar. This detail weights down the color focus slightly so the overall light color scheme doesn't look too floaty. On the chest, her signature golden four-leaf clover ornament is restored, with a few small round buttons hanging below, which are small but greatly enhance the sophistication. The sleeves and hem use a large amount of blue fabric, with soft white ribbons along the edges, cooperating with the blue-purple spliced cloth strips at the waist, giving the entire outfit a light and agile athletic feel. Below the waist, you can also see the overlapping orange-and-black fabric splicing, which is a highly recognizable techwear element in the character design.
The lower half is a blue-and-black color-blocked pleated short skirt, echoing the blue of the upper half. I especially want to mention the leg details: the thigh is styled with a black strap garter, which is highly representative of this look, pinned with a white ribbon and blue-and-white tasseled charms. Together with the white over-the-knee socks in this leg garter outfit, the visual focus is naturally drawn to the legs and the overall garment lines. This richly layered strap design not only increases the character's vitality but also brings a beautiful visual extension.
For props, the bright blue square camera in my hand is absolutely the visual anchor of this set of photos. Its color fits the blue-and-white main theme of the outfit perfectly, serving both as an interactive prop and enhancing the character's lively personality hint of recording life. During the shoot, I intentionally raised the camera to face height, making a playful one-eye-wink expression, with my left hand slightly raised in a fist, creating a feeling of taking a selfie or capturing a freshly ended party moment. This kept the poses natural and made the overall photo much more vivid. Instead of a complex real-scene background, we used a blue-to-purple gradient light-and-shadow backdrop wall. This cool-toned dreamy transition perfectly offset the striking pink wig while forming a color echo and balance with the blue camera and gift boxes.
Regarding composition, we used a high-angle shot with a slight upward tilt this time, which elongates the body proportions and highlights the interaction between the upper body and legs. The choice of lens focal length creates a natural spatial depth with the background and the edge gift boxes, while keeping the subject at the core of the frame without any tight edge-cropping pressure. For lighting, soft light was used as the main light source, rendering the wig's texture with a bright, soft, and fluffy effect, keeping the skin tone radiant and the catchlights in the eyes clear. The overall atmosphere was kept lively with light shadows, fitting the relaxed tone of this Cosplay birthday greeting. Being able to experience and restore March 7th from Honkai: Star Rail on March 7th was a highly joyful experience. From the prep of costumes and props to the final photography presentation, every step strove to get close to the character's vitality and innocence. I hope this image with little gifts preserves the character's charm and the happy mood of this exclusive festival in our Anime-style photography.
