The weather today is exceptionally beautiful; sunlight filters through the cherry blossom petals, making my whole mood feel light and cheerful. This costume was specially prepared for the spring vibe; the blue-and-white jacket combined with the light pink short hair looks incredibly photogenic under the cherry blossom trees. During the shoot, we intentionally selected several different states: the lively feel of holding a small camera, the refreshing comfort of opening my arms to the spring breeze, and the gentle moment of closing my eyes to feel the falling petals. Actually, the joy of cosplay lies not only in recreating the costumes and props, but also in how to express the character's emotions within a specific setting. For instance, choosing cherry blossoms as the background this time is because the character herself gives off a bright, vivid, and energetic vibe, which matches perfectly with the spring flower season's color scheme. We also paid special attention to the use of light during the shoot: under backlighting, a golden rim light traces the edges of the hair, while under front lighting, the distinct blue layers of the clothes are beautifully preserved. Although the prop camera is just a model, playing around with it in my hands helped me quickly dive into the mindset of recording beautiful moments. The color grading in post-processing didn't undergo too many changes, striving to preserve the tender pink of the cherry blossoms and the deep azure of the sky, making the entire set of photos look clear, crisp, and natural. The happiest part of every outdoor photoshoot is interacting with natural light, as different angles can yield entirely different atmospheric vibes. I hope this photo set can make everyone feel the coziness and vitality that spring is supposed to bring.
