This photoshoot's theme is the gym uniform look of Shiroko Sunaookami Cosplay from Blue Archive. The setting was chosen in a well-lit standard classroom for Campus classroom photography to faithfully recreate that everyday, youthful campus vibe from the game. The overall styling begins with a simple white short-sleeved T-shirt; the bright blue piping around the collar and cuffs serves as the finishing touch, directly reflecting the character's signature motifs. The lower half features a dark blue pleated skirt, with the matching track jacket casually tied around the waist during shooting—this relaxed, carefree touch fits Shiroko's nonchalant yet energetic personality perfectly. The White socks styling with classic black-and-white canvas sneakers maxes out the school aesthetic.

We prepared a rich variety of props this time, especially the floating-style blue halo and beast-ear hair accessories, which served as the soul of the look. The shooting process was very relaxed, and photographer Qi was sharp at capturing compositions. In the first shot, sitting on the wooden floor with legs extended and hands crossed in front, complemented by books scattered on the floor, creates an unexpectedly gentle, languid feel. In the second, sitting at the desk holding chalk or a textbook with subtle gestures immediately channels the atmosphere of class or recess. The third shot standing before the blackboard, doodling with chalk alongside a volleyball nearby, makes the classroom setting feel wonderfully lived-in. My favorite is the fourth shot, sitting on the desk edge holding a bottled beverage. This angle beautifully showcases the costume design, the leg lines in harmony with the socks, and the pose resting my chin on one hand while gazing into the lens—radiating a nonchalant yet focused presence.

The costume's fabric and tailoring are also worth mentioning. Shiroko's gym uniform maintains an athletic feel while offering a flattering, tailored fit. The lightweight, breathable fabric is well suited for dynamic shots in a sunlit interior. For the hairstyle, long silver-grey straight hair matches Shiroko perfectly, with bangs and sideburns styled to follow the original character art. We also incorporated hand gestures and subtle eye contact—highlighting her Blue eyes—to bring the frames to life. The overall tone of the photography leans toward warm daylight, which naturally softens the texture of the wooden desks and chairs as well as skin tones without appearing overly made up.

There was a small episode during prep: the weather suddenly turned overcast a few hours before the shoot, making us worry about lighting clarity. Fortunately, in the afternoon, sunlight streamed through the classroom's floor-to-ceiling windows, coating the scene in a lovely natural rim light. The daylight's color temperature was even better than expected—neither too cold nor overly yellow—which greatly simplified post-production color grading. Minor details during shooting, like adjusting the jacket tied at the waist and fine-tuning the halo angle, were all aimed at perfection; though subtle, these tweaks truly gave the final images greater depth and three-dimensionality.

Reviewing these final photos afterward, beyond the immediately recognizable iconic elements like the halo and beast ears, this shoot focused more on expressing the character's lived-in presence within a campus environment. The blackboard doodles, open workbook, and volleyball in the corner jointly formed a believable scene, evoking the feeling of a student living her daily routine at Millennium Science School. I always feel that capturing a character isn't just about recreating their appearance, but about conveying quiet, everyday emotions through the lens.
