[Misaki cosplay] Blue Archive President and Shun's Refreshing Summer Streamside Journey

We brought this Shanhaijing Academy summer swimsuit project straight into a real natural mountain stream. Stepping onto these moss-covered rocks beside the babbling stream, I truly felt how wonderfully this Shanhaijing swimsuit styling harmonizes with outdoor forest elements.

This time, I mainly cosplayed Misaki (the President) from Blue Archive. In designing the outfit and styling, I preserved the character's inherent dignity and composed demeanor. The black outerwear top was tailored into a loose, semi-off-the-shoulder cut, with golden cuff trims brightening the dark base tone, while a minimalist black bandeau underneath ensured the refreshing summer look didn't feel too skimpy. A signature blue butterfly hair accessory was added to the side braid as a visual focal point, creating an elegant contrast with the dark hair under natural light. For props, I chose a black long-handled umbrella; holding it closed provided a great leading line for composition while adding a narrative touch.

My partner for Shun was brilliantly portrayed by @雇頁頁. The animal-ear accessory in Shun's look inherently brings great vitality, paired with a loose white knit cardigan, a black-and-white floral bandeau, and a light lilac tulle skirt below, making the overall color brightness pop vibrantly beside the green stream. The high contrast between the white outer cardigan and dark inner wear, along with flowing long straight black hair, showcased a cozy, relaxed, yet lively presence in the mountain forest.

The location choice was ingenious—moss-covered rocks and crystal-clear running water sketched the most natural summer mountain backdrop. To adapt to the watery environment, we made thoughtful choices regarding footwear. Stepping into the stream, the icy, crisp water gave a genuine tactile sensation that made our expressions and posing much more relaxed and natural. Sunlight filtering through the dense canopy created soft diffused lighting, beautifully sculpting skin contours and the soft drape of fabric without needing harsh, intense fill lights.

In terms of camera angles and composition, we positioned ourselves mainly guided by the staggered rocks and stream flow. In seated poses, water reflections and background bokeh of the deep green woods highlighted the character's cool, aloof side; when standing together on flat ground by the stream, we emphasized visual interaction and body language between the two. The black umbrella served as a fantastic foreground element over the water and stone slabs, breaking up rigid horizontal and vertical lines.

Finally, post-production is currently underway, and halo effects will be added per the character settings. This halo effect is an iconic, indispensable identity symbol for Blue Archive characters. Imagine neon-infused, digital energy halos hovering above the serene green stream backdrop, colliding with this Shanhaijing swimsuit aesthetic—it will surely strike a wonderful visual balance between realistic nature and 2D anime design. We poured immense effort into polishing every detail of this Streamside photoshoot, Cosplay photography, and post-production, aiming not only to recreate the characters' aura but also to convey the refreshing coolness of a summer mountain stream.
