Putting on this tactical gear and finishing this photoset, the greatest feeling is the real sense of physical weight brought by the tactical chest rig. Actually, I didn't plan to do this tightly wrapped tactical style at first; it was just a spontaneous idea to borrow that iconic custom shield prop from a friend. I thought since the gear was borrowed anyway, I might as well throw on the tactical vest together, trying to see how much I could restore Hoshino's battle feel hidden behind her usual laziness.

Regarding the makeup and styling concept this time, the main tone was definitely going for a chilling aura. The bangs of the pink wig were adjusted, paired with that glowing pink halo on top of the head, giving the overall silhouette a floating cyber feel. Regarding wearing the heterochromia lenses, considering the tactical setting, I intentionally toned down the eye makeup to a darker shade to neutralize the sweetness brought by the original pink palette. The battle damage makeup smudges on the cheeks are the absolute soul of this entire look. Instead of making large bleeding wounds, it simulated a scraped texture of dust mixed with a small amount of blood, which, combined with the cool-toned lip color, perfectly fits the character's serious and stern demeanor in battle.

In terms of outfit coordination, the white shirt, black tactical chest rig, and the gray plaid pleated skirt for the lower half combine to form a wonderful visual clash between everyday life and hardcore elements. The tactical vest is not a simple prop; the attached Velcro and plate bags, including the waist pouches, all enhance the realism of the overall look. Because the heavy feel of the gear was so overwhelming, it was extremely taxing to strike poses in the early stage, especially the postures of holding the gun with both hands and carrying the shield with one hand; one must maintain a relaxed facial expression on the premise of natural movements.

In fact, the shooting process was not as easy as it looks. Because this set of gear from my friend was slightly a size too big for me, my arm's range of motion was heavily compressed after tightening the tactical vest. Especially when striking the gun-holding action in the close-up shot, my arm needed to find a highly tricky angle to expose the gun grip. The borrowed heavy shield was also considerably heavy; leaning it on the ground could barely stabilize the center of gravity, but I really like its inherent industrial mechanical texture. Together with the high-contrast hard light illumination on set, the rectangular reflective area on the shield surface and the circular dials on both sides greatly enriched the sci-fi elements of the frame.

I usually lean toward packing light for cosplay myself, and trying heavy tactical gear this time truly gave me a solid lesson. Originally, I just saw others shooting tactical style on my WeChat Moments and thought it looked incredibly handsome, but only after putting it on myself did I realize it places high demands on both stamina and core control. Especially in the second close-up shot, to maintain that firmness in my gaze, I thoroughly didn't dare to blink throughout the process, fearing a single slipped expression would break the entire tactical atmosphere.

Experiencing it this time, I feel that the success or failure of tactical cosplay often depends on details, such as whether the vest is tightly fastened, the fit of the gloves, and whether the wig can remain un-ruined when shouldering heavy gear. Although due to conditional limitations, it's still props borrowed at the last minute for now, the final output in this dark-toned scene indeed exceeded my original expectations. For this hardcore style with battle damage elements, every dimension from the makeup to expression management to posing needs to coordinate perfectly in place, which is also the most practical gain from my tactical style experience this time.
