[Sugimoto Remi cosplay] JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable — The Charm of a Pink-themed outfit

This shoot features Sugimoto Remi cosplay from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Beyond her iconic pink dress and vibrant pink ribbons, the yellow headband and short pink hair are the core visual hallmarks of the character.

Because the commissioned wig suffered a styling mishap—the stylist didn't leave adequate clearance—the headband could only be wedged forcefully on top, preventing it from resting snugly against the head as depicted in the original work, which was a huge disappointment. Since the hair positioning couldn't be altered, I had to compensate entirely through makeup.

To match 2D anime proportions, I specifically chose pink colored contact lenses to enlarge eye dimensions. I drew the eyeliner fairly long and defined, pairing it with denser false eyelashes. Blending soft pink eyeshadow and blush across a wider area alongside a tender pink lipstick gave the face that gentle, anime-like softness. The choker with the gold square tag around the neck and the ribbon ties on the arms were also vital props for completing this Pink-themed outfit with Anime-style makeup.

We captured three main poses during this Casual cosplay session. The first pose holding a pen was an homage to the classic composition from the original series, adjusted slightly for a more organic frame; the second, hugging a brown plush dog, was chosen to showcase her tender, youthful side; the third chin-resting pose was ideal for a cover photo, framing an attentive and elegant demeanor. In post-processing, retouching focused on skin tone and facial contours, aiming for a smooth, clean, dimensional aesthetic while carefully preserving authentic shadows along the bridge of the nose and collarbone structure.

Although the misplaced headband caused some stress during the shoot, the texture of the Pink-themed outfit looked gorgeous under warm studio lighting. The overall atmosphere turned out quite lovely, and I hope it successfully conveys Sugimoto Remi's graceful yet subtly fragile charm.
