For this shoot, we utilized a pure white cyclorama studio background to ensure the subject and costume colors were reproduced with absolute fidelity. This Gymnastics uniform worn by Shiroko Sunaookami from Blue Archive features numerous refined details worth examining. The track jacket features a white base with black trim, accented by signature cyan-blue highlights along the collar and cuffs; its structured fabric held crisp, clean lines even when adjusting seated postures. To diverge from standard uniform vibes, the lower half was paired with over-the-knee White stockings, which carved out elegant leg contours through soft light-and-shadow transitions against the seamless white set while harmonizing with the white undershirt.

Wig prep was the primary focus of upfront work. The silver-gray base required textured volume, and the blunt bangs underwent repeated micro-trims to ensure my eyes remained completely visible. The internal structural support of the black animal ears perched on top was paramount—they had to anchor firmly to the wig net without shifting when tilting down or angling sideways. Because the cyan halo prop is floating in canon lore, it was mounted on an invisible acrylic rod on set, demanding tight coordination with the photographer, Alarak, to find exact low and high camera angles that hid the mount. Cyan-blue lenses paired with soft reddish-pink eye makeup bridged the gap between 2D aesthetics and 3D facial dimensionality without feeling jarring.

Capturing dynamic tension within static poses proved to be the day's challenge. Although executing a seated posture, embodying an athletic girl required keeping my core fully engaged rather than slumping down. Resting on a plush cushion, I bent one leg slightly while angling the other sideways, keeping my spine erect. Hand placements avoided exaggerated gestures, instead lifting softly with curved fingers to channel an active state ready to spring up at any second. Light angling from overhead cast delicate shadows across my collarbones and shoulders, adding rich dimensionality. Anchored in cool tones, the cyan-blue accents popped vividly against the predominant black, white, and gray scheme.

Throughout the shoot, I consistently sought that delicate balance between cool detachment and kinetic energy. Skipping convoluted facial expressions, natural micro-gestures aligned with the Gymnastics uniform concept spoke volumes. Because White stockings tend to catch specular highlights before the camera, the photographer calibrated the softbox angles to ensure leg lines remained smooth and clean. The entire session tested physical endurance and focus alike, but seeing the finished chiaroscuro and prop fidelity match our vision made every preparation thoroughly worthwhile.
