[Yixuan Cosplay] Cool Techwear Moments in Zenless Zone Zero

Set against the baseline of Yixuan's Techwear outfit style in Zenless Zone Zero, full preparations were made for location selection and prop pairing during this shoot. Special thanks to photographer Xiami for the efficient and precise snapshots on-site during Convention photography, bringing out the costume details and character temperament to the fullest.

A lot of thought went into this White hair cosplay setup. Yixuan's outfit design features a strong sense of layering: the outer layer is a pinstriped black suit jacket paneled with glossy leather, featuring 3D metal hardware on the shoulders. To maintain a crisp silhouette, supportive inner layers were worn underneath, yet flexibility remained essential, requiring careful fabric selection. The gray-and-black paneled short skirt, paired with a white ruffled lining and pointed black stilettos, stretches leg proportions to the max. The texture of black tights collides brilliantly with the sheen of leather, perfectly matching her sharp yet formidable combat posture.

Makeup details were heavily refined—using amber contact lenses and slightly upturned eyeliner, paired with her signature geometric silver-white hairpiece across the forehead to instantly create character recognition. The wig was styled days in advance, with voluminous roots at the crown to flatter head proportions, while the long straight hair presents a beautiful sheen as it flows in the breeze.

The shoot presented considerable challenges. The convention venue was crowded and noisy, with metal guardrails, ambient light rigs, and reflectors in the background. To bypass clutter, we relied heavily on low-angle shooting and wide apertures for our Convention photography.

The first picture is one of my favorite snapshots—a dynamic pose with one hand on the ground and one leg stretching sideways. It showcases the coat folds and pleated skirt movement while creating an extended line through black tights and pointed high heels. This pose demanded immense core strength to balance weight while keeping facial expressions relaxed, thankfully supported by the crisp leather jacket.

The second shot features a classic half-crouch holding a prop card with symmetrical geometric patterns. To express character composure, I consciously relaxed my neck and shoulders, looking down slightly before raising my gaze to catch light, capturing an effortless, leisurely aura.

The third shot is a medium close-up, mainly highlighting paneling details and facial expressions. Because Yixuan's character leans cool and resolute, I chose a slightly tilted head angle to break up a rigid front view and clearly present collar metallic sheens and shoulder textures.

The final shot captures a wind-swept look back over the shoulder. Long hair flying in the air creates strong dynamic energy, while turning sideways and reaching out creates a powerful visual invitation and interactive connection.

For movement control, I paid special attention to extending limbs and softly flexing joints rather than keeping lines stiff. During single-leg extension moves, pointing toes straight ensured visual leg lengthening. Guided by the photographer, we also utilized ground reflections to add a cool sci-fi atmosphere.

Through this interpretation, I gained a deeper understanding of Zenless Zone Zero's world and Yixuan's character traits—representing an independent, resolute, and self-paced sense of guardianship within an urban sci-fi context. The Techwear outfit and her sharp demeanor are highly unified. For me, every cosplay isn't just putting on similar clothes, but externalizing inner character traits through demeanor, body language, and chemistry with the photographer. These frozen moments are the best medium for expressing this character. I hope these photos convey Yixuan's unique coolness and sharp spirit to everyone!
