Attempting to recreate this Sangonomiya Kokomi cosplay look, the overall color palette centers on blue, white, and light purple. For the hairstyle, I chose a pale pinkish-white wig, which was trimmed and styled into her signature high bun outfit look, accented with blue scrunchies and metallic dangling ornaments, while side bangs frame the face perfectly. The most eye-catching part of the upper top is undeniably the massive blue bow on the chest. To recreate that rich yet flowing texture from the original game, I specially selected a subtly glowing satin material. The embedded round metal crest in the center serves as the crowning touch, with its water swirl patterns symbolizing the oceanic power of Watatsumi Island and the Water element. To prevent the off-the-shoulder costume from slipping, transparent invisible straps were sewn onto the shoulders, ensuring stability during posing without compromising aesthetic beauty. The sleeves feature a wide, detached sleeve-cover design printed with exquisite white water ripple patterns. The flow and density of these ripples closely adhere to the official art, while sleeve edges are trimmed with light blue sheer mesh and ruffles to add visual lightness. Below the sleeves hang pearl strands and pale purple tassels, swaying gently with movement to enhance dynamic beauty. The skirt's asymmetrical cut and tulle panelling interweave the pure white base with light gradient tulle, resembling ocean waves surging around the hem. The white pantyhose on the lower body form a key visual focal point of this Anime-style outfit; the tights fit smoothly, with pale purple geometric lines printed on the right thigh according to the original design. Paired with platform traditional split-toe geta, it preserves the dignified vintage charm of a Divine Priestess while offering modern comfort. After dressing up completely and examining every detail in the mirror, I felt all the preparation time was truly worthwhile.

In preparing this cosplay costume, the biggest challenge lay in symmetrical sleeve printing and pattern drafting. Complex line patterns like water ripples easily look disjointed if alignment is off during stitching. I repeatedly verified the placement of pleats at the waist and cuffs to ensure continuous, fluid pattern flow when worn. Another element requiring careful attention was the chest crest; to make it look premium, I avoided cheap flat printing and sought out custom accessories with a 3D relief finish, as this meticulous attention to detail dramatically boosts the garment's textual expression. For the shoot, I chose a Casual cosplay setup at home utilizing a large mirror and basic lighting. Despite the complete outfit and wig, wearing it felt relatively lightweight without heavy rigid materials, making various poses effortless. While mirror selfies lack the immersive atmosphere of outdoor photographer shoots, they win in authenticity, allowing everyone to intuitively observe the costume's natural drape and color coordination. On camera, this refreshing blue-and-white color palette makes skin tones appear exceptionally fair, while the water ripple elements and tulle skirt echo the gentle, calm demeanor of the Divine Priestess. Looking at the big picture, despite minor flaws, as an Anime-style outfit portrayal of the in-game original, I am quite satisfied with the outcome.
