Transporting and setting it up on-site really tested our lighting placement. We tried several angles before getting this circle to blend seamlessly with the cool tones of the background without overshadowing the main focus.
When I first got the costume, I felt that large areas of metallic color blocking could easily lose texture, so I made some minor adjustments to my makeup and details. To give the white ribbons on the outfit and the long blue hair a weightless, floating visual effect during the shoot, we relied heavily on hidden fan placements. For the wig, which features a gradient between blue and black along with a sticking-out ahoge, I used plenty of styling spray during setting to ensure it didn't get too messy under the wind of the fan.
For the poses, I combined the character's aggressive yet cool and detached aura. Sometimes sitting on the circle with one leg up required maintaining balance while highlighting long, flowing legs and the intricate design of the straps. I recommend making full use of environmental support points in practice—such as stone pillars, candle stands, and the circle itself—as they help the body present a more naturally relaxed state rather than facing the camera stiffly.

The photographer used highly reflective mirror material for the floor, successfully creating double the spatial depth. Low-lying candle stands and blue flowers scattered around, paired with the giant moon lamp above, kept the entire image's tone at a cool, sci-fi shrine aesthetic. During close-up shots, I paid special attention to shaping my gaze, because in high-contrast lighting environments, the eyes are often the key to conveying character emotion. Fortunately, the final results met our expectations.

Between shots, I frequently had to readjust my accessories, as larger movements easily caused the thin black hair cords to tangle around the metal armguards.
For this color grading approach, a cool blue-violet palette was chosen, which harmonizes deeply with the character's mysterious, serene aura. Beyond capturing high visual accuracy when portraying her, I hoped to convey her inner persistence and restraint through my facial expressions. Although it was just a studio shoot, thanks to these solid props and the assistance of the lighting technician, it was easy to immerse myself into this fictional narrative world.
Additionally, the leg straps on this outfit required meticulous attention to detail. To look sleek rather than bulky on camera, I used many hidden snaps to secure their placement.
