[Shenhe cosplay] Genshin Impact's Cold-Faced Senior Sister Also Has a Gentle Side

This time, I tried a fan-made design cosplay look for Shenhe, opting for a more casual everyday outfit approach instead of completely copying the combat attire from the game. The white off-the-shoulder knit sweater, combined with the iconic silver-white hair and red tassel earrings, retains the character's core recognizability while softening the overall atmosphere.

During this studio shoot, we intentionally used a single-sided hard light to simulate a spotlight effect. With the background dimmed, the facial contours and the texture of the hair strands were enhanced, especially the gray wig which showed very natural gradient layers under the strong light. The makeup highlighted the blue colored contacts and a touch of blush at the outer corners of the eyes, attempting to recreate that cool yet nimble look in Shenhe's eyes.

For the props, I chose the gradient laser rose in my hand, which refracts delicate glints of light in the dim environment, creating a beautiful contrast of cool and warm tones with the black hair accessory on my head. We actually took a lot of photos for this set, and the few finally selected captured the light and shadow falling perfectly on my cheeks and necklines, which is a state I'm personally quite satisfied with.

The character of Shenhe from Genshin Impact inherently has a lot of story depth to explore, and the fan-made design cosplay gave me more room to express myself without being limited by specific scenes, as long as it conveys her unique aura. I hope this set of photos allows everyone to see a more slice-of-life, softer side of Shenhe besides combat. As a serious roleplay attempt, it was a wonderful experience.
