Captured live on Day 1 of the JH Dimension Anime Expo by photographer Nangong, the details of this Twilight Blossom outfit are truly captivating upon closer look. The blue gradient wig paired with golden floral hair accessories, alongside the small copper bell pendant at the collar, makes a crisp chime with every step. Before stepping in front of the camera, I specifically coordinated black arm sleeves and leg bands, making the overall styling layers much richer than imagined. Nangong's candid captures were remarkably precise; the unedited straight-out-of-camera lighting felt very comfortable, avoiding heavy retouching while preserving natural skin tones and fabric textures.

Temperatures were moderate on the day of the convention, and the costume offered decent breathability; while standing for photos, I could feel the gentle breeze brushing past the rounded fan. The translucent flower-and-bird fan in my hand reflected a soft blue sheen under outdoor light, serving as a delightful detail. I was fortunate to shoot on the outdoor plaza this time. Having occasional passersby step into the background actually added a slice-of-life realism, as if casually strolling through the streets during Lantern Rite.

The costume craftsmanship is worth mentioning: the red tassels and small gold bells at the waist were hand-sewn, exhibiting a gentle sway as I moved. The cloud-patterned metal ring on the thigh felt smooth against the skin without digging in, making the overall wearing experience quite friendly for exploring an anime convention. Since I needed to walk around the venue, I chose low-heeled black-soled shoes adorned with blue bows, balancing character lore fidelity with ease of mobility.

I actually took many photos throughout the day at JH Expo, but when photographer Nangong picked out these raw shots for me to see, I felt they captured the convention atmosphere perfectly. Especially the shot standing sideways holding up the rounded fan—the sunlight striking the blue strands gave the wig incredible texture. As a personal cosplay project, the collaboration during this shoot went exceptionally smoothly, with the photographer skillfully guiding directions from static posed shots to dynamic snapshots.

The true joy of convention photos lies in these spontaneous captures. Without intentionally building studio sets, using the commercial street's flagstones and glass curtain walls as a backdrop unexpectedly blended the Liyue-style costume with a modern urban feel. Every cosplay outing reveals small details to optimize, and this time was no exception, but overall it achieved the desired presentation effect. Meeting passionate fellow fans for hall shots on-site was a wonderful surprise. Though convention photos delivery takes a bit of time, I believe more stunning photos will be presented soon. The anime convention vibe was fantastic, and wearing this attire all day was tiring yet deeply fulfilling.
