[Kamisato Ayaka cosplay] Let's Drink Milk Tea Together: Checking Out the Yashiro Commissioner's Eldest Daughter in a Daily Sailor suit

For this Kamisato Ayaka Sailor suit shoot, the overall style was positioned towards a daily, vintage Japanese street photography aesthetic. In terms of makeup, the focus was placed on delineating the eye contours and applying a sweet lip color. Paired with a light purple straight-bangs low ponytail wig, accented with pink ribbons and a dark bow, it instantly highlighted the character's gentle elegance, with facial makeup and styling details staying as close as possible to the character design itself.

The outfit selected was a white Sailor suit with star embroidery and a dark blue pleated skirt, matched with a tie of the same color palette and blue cuff stripes. Visually very refreshing, it brought out an endearing, gap-moe daily vibe for an otherwise dignified character. The wig was meticulously styled, with the curves of the bangs and sideburns carefully trimmed to best preserve facial delicacy in front of the lens.

For props, I specially selected a white milk tea cup printed with a little character figure and a pink Instax camera. The gesture of holding the milk tea cup in hand echoed the relaxed milk-tea-drinking vibe of the post caption, while holding the camera added a playful interactive touch. During the shoot, the photographer used warm-toned lighting, which, combined with the vintage floral pattern of the background wallpaper, created a very comfortable soft glow and warmth throughout the frame; the shadows cast on the wall also enhanced depth and layering.

In guiding poses and expressions, I experimented with several different states. The first shot featured one hand supporting the milk tea cup with a gentle gaze towards the lens; the second made a peace sign while waving, showing the lively, youthful side of a girl; the third showed me holding up the Instax camera as if taking a photo while resting my chin on my hand. These actions were very helpful for showcasing the character's traits and making the photos look more vivid and natural. During the shoot, to get the most perfect angles and lighting, we did many test shots to capture the precise moments where lighting and motion harmonized best.

Bringing a game character into an everyday setting this time broke away from her traditionally serious image, which I personally consider a unique and distinctive attempt. Post-processing also preserved a delicate skin tone as much as possible, avoiding excessive skin smoothing or exaggerated filters to retain the authentic textures of the clothing and wig. The shooting process was wonderful; this Sailor suit outfit looked exceptionally photogenic on camera. Whether softly gazing into the lens or playfully waving, it perfectly captured my unique interpretation when portraying Kamisato Ayaka.
