[Shi Qingxuan Cosplay] The Cool Elegance and Agility of Heaven Official's Blessing's Feminine Look - Image 1

This time I want to share a photoset of Shi Qingxuan's feminine look that I did. The overall visual tone of the photos leans toward a cool-toned and somewhat ethereal state. From the moment I decided to cosplay this character, a lot of thought went into preparing the makeup, styling, and props.

Let's first talk about the design of the hairstyle. Although long, straight black hair looks natural, it was actually styled with a fluffy volume. The hair crown features a white main structure adorned with pearl-textured accents, and some small gold hair ornaments were added to both sides to enrich the details. The styling of the bangs and wispy hair at the temples was kept casual, which both frames the face shape beautifully and retains the character's unembellished, care-free freedom.

Regarding makeup, the focus this time was placed on the clean, translucent base and the temperament of the brows and eyes. The green contact lenses are the finishing touch, paired with softly colored long eyebrows, giving the gaze a hint of insight. A red cinnabar mole was dotted between the eyebrows, paired with soft matte red lips; this contrast of red, white, and black highlights the unique softness and cool elegance of the feminine look.

The prop fan is the core accessory of this outfit. The ribs of this folding fan are pure black, forming a powerful visual contrast with the white paper fan surface. The calligraphy characters on the fan surface were hand-written by me and pasted on. Combined with the dripping white tassels and yellow round bead pendants, it feels substantial in hand, boosting the aura of the entire ancient costume with folding fan outfit. The positioning of holding the fan handle during the shoot was also highly meticulous; a half-open fan can not only make the composition of the frame fuller but also perfectly block a portion of the torso to increase the character's sense of mystery and narrative.

The costume adopts a multi-layered cross-collar design, with the primary color scheme consisting of white, light cyan, and pale blue. The outer white gauze fabric is extremely lightweight, presenting an excellent sense of drape and flowing grace when walking or turning around. The inner wear's collar fits very well without causing a constrained feel. During the shooting process, the long sleeves and wide cuffs did bring some small challenges—for example, special attention was needed to arrange the wrinkles when raising an arm—but it is precisely this complex layering and draping material that better embodies the gorgeousness and authenticity of a traditional style cosplay character.

The shooting environment was chosen in front of a background with dark-patterned cloth curtains. The lights in the studio hit a side-backlight angle, making the character's silhouette more three-dimensional, which is perfect for expressing a cool temperament. The emotional investment during the shoot was also crucial; no exaggerated expressions were needed—just relax the facial muscles slightly, stare straight into the lens, and with the concealment of the folding fan, a serene yet confident atmosphere naturally flows out.

Given that the gear was so heavy, the physical exertion of the shoot was actually larger than imagined. However, seeing the texture in the final photos makes all the preparation and hard work completely worthwhile. This attempt truly gave me a more concrete understanding of Shi Qingxuan's feminine look style, fusing bookish elegance with a sense of agility to present a unique beauty in front of the camera. Finally, I selected the one that best restores her神态 as the main picture for this group of photos, hoping to share this traditional Chinese charm.
