This private photoshoot brought together Angelina, Timeslot, Thumpy, and Jacinta from Arknights. Since everyone is usually tied up with work and studies, gathering on the same day for an on-location shoot was genuinely rare. Extensive care went into preparing these four coordinates. The wigs for Timeslot cosplay and Jacinta cosplay were quite intricate; to craft an organically bouncy, layered curl with natural volume, styling began the night before—using generous amounts of hair wax and setting spray, combing iteratively so they maintained their ideal form throughout the shoot the next day.

Regarding the wardrobe, Angelina selected an everyday academy-style coordinate featuring a white shirt paired with a purple tie and a brown knit vest, anchored below by a dark plaid pleated skirt for a gentle, scholarly vibe. Thumpy channeled a distinct aesthetic: a tailored black dress with sharp waist-cinching and an exaggerated statement bow, grounded by black Stockings and platform shoes to emphasize leg proportions. To echo character motifs, we wove animal and rabbit ear accessories into our looks; the plush ears heightened character recognition and became eye-catching visual anchors in the frames.

The location chosen was a café paved with black-and-white checkerboard tiles. The interior lighting was remarkably even, while background glass doors, windows, and potted greenery lent rich scenic layering. Mirror selfies actually test compositional balance intensely; drifting slightly off-center throws proportions out of alignment. Crowding four people before the mirror required one person to steady the phone while everyone adjusted their stance to ensure all faces were framed crisply. In the second shot, we shifted positions slightly—some holding vintage handbags, others carrying shopping bags—striving to capture organic, slice-of-life interactions. The pairing of black long socks and slouch socks with platform shoes visually elongated leg lines while adding stylish layers to the coordinates.

The shooting process was wonderful fun, smoothing each other's collars and tweaking skirt angles between takes. To keep frames from feeling rigid, we experimented extensively with gaze and physical gestures—calibrating where hands rested so poses didn't feel hollow, and tilting torsos to showcase the tailored silhouettes. Through active communication, everyone found comfortable postures, and our energy grew increasingly natural. Bringing characters with distinct styles into a unified frame is never easy. From harmonizing makeup tones to aligning uniform aesthetics and synchronizing poses, every step relied on unspoken chemistry. Fortunately, the finished set fulfilled our vision as a heartfelt, dedicated tribute. Given the chance next time, we hope to explore even more diverse environments and photographic styles.
