In this shoot, I kept thinking about how to precisely restore Musashi's sharp yet restrained sword intent. As an important character in Honor of Kings, the temperament Musashi carries is very unique, so I paid special attention to the texture of makeup and styling details. Especially this orange outer robe featuring a Hanfu style, against the backdrop of natural light, it can beautifully reflect that "slightly radiant" mood of the character. During the on-site shoot, I repeatedly tried different standing postures and gestures, because every movement of Musashi should contain a unique sense of destiny. To give the final photos more visual impact, we used the colonnades of ancient buildings as the background and made many detailed fine-tunings to the handling of light and shadow, striving to showcase the character's heroic side in the camera capture. Although spending a long time waiting for the best light and shadow during outdoor photography is very physically exhausting, seeing the flowing texture of light and shadow in the final photos makes all the effort highly meaningful. Although this cosplay process was full of challenges, restoring the Musashi in my mind is the greatest reward. I hope this creation can bring some resonance to fellow fans who love this character.
