The long, straight light-blue wig reflected a crisp, cool texture under the studio spotlights. To perfectly convey the celestial elegance of Master Qingxiao in Wuthering Waves, a great deal of thought was invested in both styling and photography. Starting with the costume materials, the outer layer utilized an abundance of semi-sheer tulle; to capture that flowing grace on camera without looking cheap, I put immense care into selecting the lining. The pure white underlayer not only preserved structural crispness, but also prevented awkward clinging from the sheer overlay. Notice the blue patchwork at the neckline and waist, along with those golden cloud-scroll embroideries—these details absorb significant light, so I deliberately positioned the key light to strike from the front-quarter side, paired with a reflector to sculpt facial dimensions while letting the metallic sheen of the embroidery pop across the frame.

The wig was unquestionably the centerpiece. To ensure the hair looked lush yet cleanly tiered, I heavily thinned and layered the front section; otherwise, the head silhouette would easily appear oversized. Those two white dragon horn-like hair accessories on top served as the structural anchor of the hairstyle. I used dozens of bobby pins and heavy-duty hairspray to secure them firmly, ensuring no flaws were exposed across varying angles. In post-production color grading, the pale blue hue required extreme vigilance—avoiding excessive purple or yellow tints to preserve that cool, divine aura. For makeup, harmonizing with the overall cool palette, I chose grey-blue contact lenses, keeping the eye makeup soft and understated while elongating the outer corners to accentuate serene detachment.

Regarding props, the translucent blue elongated prop in hand photographed stunningly, though in practice it easily produced glare and warped reflections. By refining my hand grip and coordinating with the white bandages wrapped around my hands, the overall gestures felt far more natural and cohesive. The over-the-knee White stockings were another styling highlight, not only elongating leg lines, but also complementing the character's anime identity. When posing seated, I angled my torso slightly, subtly bending both legs to showcase the sheen of the White stockings and the natural extension of the limbs, achieving a visual appeal that was captivating without feeling forced.

The set was staged in an indoor studio featuring traditional Chinese garden elements. The welcoming pine bonsai and calligraphy scrolls in the background infused profound cultural depth, echoing Master Qingxiao's revered status. In terms of posing guidance, I strived to sustain a poised presence combining aloof coolness with dignified authority—keeping the gaze anchored and resolute. At times, capturing the ideal lighting and the sweeping flare of the robes required holding my breath in a frozen pose for extended stretches. Portraying an immortal cultivation aesthetic, the hardest part is not merely wearing celestial robes, but making a static photo feel alive with motion. This requires constant mindfulness of how sleeves, hemlines, and hair strands flow, using gentle torso twists to drive dynamic flutter. Even with gentle breezes, predicting the trajectory of the hair strands and timing the wind fan precisely was essential. Although the shoot was physically demanding, seeing the final images embody that cool, celestial Master made every ounce of effort worthwhile.
