[Suisui cosplay] Wuthering Waves Chinese-Style Hanfu Looks Truly Ethereal at Bilibili World

The design of this Hanfu outfit is exceptional: while radiating an ethereal, fairy-like aesthetic, its tailoring and fabrics carefully accommodate dynamic movement. The top is a pure white bandeau adorned across the bust with yellow wing-shaped embellishments and cinched at the waist by a slender blue cord. The most eye-catching feature is the draped outer shawl of sheer tulle, weaving lime green and bright yellow together. Because of the multiple sheer layers, I allowed the silk stole to drape down naturally while walking to prevent the silhouette from looking bulky.

For the wig, I selected golden-yellow long hair with natural soft waves, styled with wispy see-through bangs across the forehead and accented by an elongated crimson hairpin. For the makeup, I focused heavily on the eyeshadow: an expansive red smudge sweeping upward toward the brow bone, accented by delicate glitter under the eyes and a red huadian forehead motif, striving to create a cool, transcendent aloofness. A classic true-red lipstick anchored the visual focus squarely on the face.

Shooting at Bilibili World offered wonderful environmental surprises. The second-floor railing featured geometric wall paneling in white and green, accented by black cross-shaped motifs. Leaning against the brown-framed glass balustrade, I alternated between resting my chin on one hand gazing into the distance and tossing the silk stole gently into the air. Overhead hall lighting filtered through the sheer gauze with organic translucency, granting raw photos a soft, diffused glow without heavy post-processing. As gentle air currents swept by, hair and gauze fluttered together, which the photographer captured with razor-sharp timing.

Transitioning onto the stage, the space opened up considerably. Spreading my arms and spinning across the platform, the cyan-green stole traced graceful arcs with dynamic visual tension that static photos rarely capture fully. Standing before the massive colorful backdrop alongside fellow cosplayers portraying other characters from Wuthering Waves, everyone collaborated seamlessly on blocking and positioning to keep every angle vivid and natural.

To ensure the costume looked its absolute best on stage, I calibrated the tension of the blue waist cord before stepping out, balancing ease of breathing with a defined waistline. Despite wide, sweeping stage movements, the featherlight garments never felt restrictive. Throughout the event, though constantly resetting slipping stoles, seeing the fabric drape, nuanced color transitions, and focused gaze align perfectly in the final cuts made the effort completely worthwhile. Translating a 2D vision into a living 3D entity is precisely why Chinese-style cosplay is so captivating. This Bilibili World experience was thoroughly fulfilling, not just for the great lighting and set synergy, but for the deeper appreciation gained for every stitch and detail of this Hanfu cosplay.
