As the moon phases rotate, I decided to use a brand-new color palette for this shoot to fit the character's own atmosphere. In fact, when I first received this blue-and-white themed shooting project, my immediate reaction was that we needed to find an environment that could reflect lightness while carrying a sense of mystery. The light filtering through the stained glass windows was somewhat ghostly blue, just right creating a marvelous fusion with the character's hair color.

To restore the character's appearance, I handled many detailed areas, such as the golden neck guard around the neck; it was wider than I imagined, but fortunately, it perfectly matches the character's luxurious feel. The metallic texture vest on the chest is highly sensitive to catching light and shadow, which required me to pay a little attention to my standing and sitting angles to reflect the most beautiful specular reflection. Under strong light, the hair displays a two-tone gradient; the transition between deep blue and light blue reinforces the overall layering, while the leaf-shaped hair accessories on the side of the head are the finishing touch, heavily testing the auxiliary setting.

The blue light orb prop we prepared this time is actually an excellent interactive medium. Holding it in hand, one cannot help but imagine what kind of power it represents in the character's setting. During the shooting process, I needed to constantly adjust the gripping force and arm angles, both to maintain naturalness and prevent blocking the large-area display of the costume. The blue nail polish is also a matching element, visually forming a refreshing connection through the white leg straps and metal rings. The white fabric and strap design beautifully complement the fair skin while contrasting with the black fabric at the bottom. Paired with a large area of bright blue, the overall blue-themed outfit style is fresh and possesses a certain level of recognizability.

As my photographer partner, I think his lighting strategy this time was very clear, utilizing high-key lighting to avoid a dim background. The arrangement of white flowers and the white plush carpet in the frame happen to provide the character with a soft, serene sense of space. While adjusting my posture, I tried three different sitting poses. For instance, in this final cover photo, I raised my arm to make a light-blocking gesture, which not only revealed the golden armor at the wrist but also beautifully displayed the ring-shaped buckles and wound straps on the legs. The geometric cutout patterns of the armor are highly intricate, adding a rugged touch to the armor portion that contrasts with the softness of the skirt, a clashing beauty that scores extra points in the final photos.

The entire outfitting process was actually very time-consuming. Putting on and taking off the costume is quite complex, especially the straps on the thighs, which required multiple adjustments to the tightness to ensure they wouldn't slip off or bind too tightly. However, for the final presented effect, I feel it was well worth it. Simulating the character's state in a similar environment and maintaining a clear gaze is what I wanted to convey throughout several shots. Through such meticulous hair, makeup, and scene coordination, I hope to pass down that agile, lively, and mysterious atmosphere of the character. Every shoot is a challenge to a new look, and this time, regarding the handling of blue-themed outfit choices and metallic wind elements, I think we achieved another good fusion for this Cosplay photography session. I also hope the clash of light, clothing fabrics, and overall color scheme in this set of photos can allow everyone to see a different facet of this 2D character.
