Putting on this Cosplay outfit immediately brought out that casual yet cool aesthetic. The location choice for this photoshoot was super interesting—it blended the retro atmosphere of an indoor pool hall with the street industrial vibe of a motorcycle garage, matching the tone of this costume perfectly.

Let's talk about the costume details everyone cares about most. The off-the-shoulder black hoodie is a distinct highlight of this ensemble; the half-unzipped design reveals the white inner paneled collar without looking dull. The cutest detail is definitely those two fluffy bear paw decorations on the cuffs, adding a touch of playful sweetness to the cool street style. For the bottom, I paired a red-and-black plaid pleated miniskirt—plaid naturally carries a street style attribute, and against the deep blue cloth of the pool table, the red skirt popped intensely with maxed-out color contrast.

For leg styling, I chose the asymmetrical sock design trending recently: a sleek white thigh-high sock on the left, and a sexy black fishnet stocking on the right, stepped into a pair of tactical-style black mid-calf lace-up boots. This variation in length and material not only visually extended proportions but also enriched the layers of the lower body wear. The leather choker around the neck was the finishing touch, adding a dash of rebellious attitude that aligned seamlessly with the subculture aesthetic.

For hair and makeup, I styled a long twin-tail wig with a gradient of pale pink and white, keeping the strands fluffy and airy. The black bow at the crown and translucent pink lens-like hair ornament were the soul of the look—preserving youthful energy while carrying a touch of anime-style mechanical or retro flair. Makeup wasn't overly heavy, using pinkish eyeshadow with subtle blush vibes paired with slender eyeliner to create a lazy, slightly mischievous visual effect.

During the shoot, the photographer gave me a lot of freedom. In the first setting inside the pool hall, I held a pink lollipop as a prop, serving as a natural interaction point. Posing in various sitting and leaning postures on the pool table naturally revealed the asymmetrical thigh-highs and boots, which, combined with retro neon lights casting warm glow, wooden wine racks, and scattered billiard balls in the background, created a cinematic feel.

The second setting shifted to the motorcycle garage, which featured a sleek black motorcycle alongside vibrant graffiti-covered walls, retro arcade cabinets, and industrial oil drums. In this Motorcycle pool hall scene, the character's vibe became even more independent and uninhibited. I stood next to the bike in a casually detached posture while neon signs behind cast rim light, staining hair strands in warm tones against the hard contrast of the black bike.

Even though the shoot lasted several hours, having these fun settings and props meant I didn't feel tired. For street-style or slightly rebellious styling, the key is avoiding forced posing and instead immersing oneself in the environment. Whether swinging legs sitting on the pool table or holding the lollipop before my eyes looking through it into the lens, it naturally let the character's casual, composed, and playfully mischievous nature shine through.

Huge credit to the team's professionalism—the photographer's lighting control was spot-on, using a wide aperture to blur chaotic backgrounds while weaving warm neon lights with cool ambient light to make skin texture and garment details look beautifully translucent. A great Anime-style photography photoshoot requires not just accurate character props, but also stellar light-shadow aesthetics. Seeing the raw shots right after shooting was a delightful surprise.
