After finishing this pure white themed shoot of Dorothy, looking back at the sorted photos on my computer, I can truly feel the soft atmosphere brought by this styling. From picking the wig to matching the clothing materials, every step was adjusted around the two core concepts of lightness and dreaminess.

The bright pink hair was styled with fluffy buns on both sides, adorned with a thin headband as a head accessory that blends naturally with the original curls of the hair strands. The outfit features white as the primary tone, spliced with translucent sheer short sleeves and a pink ruffled hemline. The design on the chest of the top is quite unique, using material straps and delicate bowknots to add layers, with subtle cutouts or sheer details on the waist sides and arms. For the legs, I paired it with white lace-trimmed over-the-knee socks, and the plush prop in my hand acts as a visual anchor, adding a playful sense of interaction to the static sitting and standing poses. Small accessories like a watch and bracelets also help break the monotony.

This time, I specifically chose an all-white European-style indoor scene. The pure white staircase itself possesses a minimalist geometric beauty, while the white railings in the background and the faint relief patterns on the distant wall add some exquisite details without stealing the spotlight from the central figure. For the lighting, large softboxes were used for high-key illumination to eliminate harsh shadow areas as much as possible. This translucent, diffused light cleans up the colors of the entire image, perfectly matching the tone of the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE universe, where a sci-fi shell intertwines with a character's pure silhouette.

For makeup, I chose light grayish-blue colored contacts according to the overall vibe, paired with thick false eyelashes to enlarge the eye contours, while the soft blush and lip color echo the pink wig. During the shoot, balancing tension and relaxation in the movements was crucial. Whether it was looking down at the camera to show a playful and cute side, or gently raising the prop after adjusting my sitting posture, I put quite a bit of thought into finding resonance with the character. These natural and relaxed body languages effectively break the emptiness and coldness that a large area of pure white background can easily create.

The high waistline and lightweight, fluffy skirt of this outfit do a great job of flattering the figure. My condition on the day of the shoot was also great. In post-processing, we preserved the original light and shadow texture, with basically no stacked unnecessary effects or complex filters. We just simply adjusted the color temperature and exposure, trying to use the most direct light and color transitions to restore the character's inherently pure and translucent temperament. Actually, in the process of cosplay, the hardest part is often not presenting the costumes or props, but how to remain relaxed and natural in front of the lens, translating the character's traits into a real emotional projection. The shooting process for this set was quite a well-controlled experience for me.
