Putting on this Elysia swimsuit outfit, I walked straight into the convention venue and started shooting. The focus of this costume is to restore the lightweight feel of the swimsuit version, choosing to shoot inside an industrial-style exhibition hall, creating a contrast of beauty with the soft pink wig and elf ears.
The upper part of the outfit is a white bustier with a ruffled design, paired with a dark bow, and black lace accents to add layers. The blue semi-sheer gauze cover-up makes the overall look more refreshing in summer. The short pleated skirt on the lower body uses transparent gauze material, which, combined with the custom white leg rings and star decorations, elongates the body proportions beautifully. To restore the character's cuteness, energetic pink blush and blue colored contacts were specially added to the makeup.
An open convention hall was chosen as the venue, where the large rows of lights at the top provided excellent illumination, giving the pink wig a translucent texture. The balloon prop held in the second photo enhances the fun of the frame. Against the cool-toned background of the exhibition hall, the pink hair and white clothing stand out exceptionally. During the shoot, I tried many lively poses, such as lifting the skirt hem and placing my hand on my chest, striving to showcase Elysia's confident, composed, yet playful character traits.
In fact, every time I do an Anime cosplay, the costume pairing and scene selection directly determine the quality of the final photos. Although this swimsuit version design doesn't have many accessories, details like the bow at the waist and the decals near the collarbone require precise adjustments to fit the character setting. The harsh, cold feeling of the exhibition hall collides with the sweetness of the anime character, bringing a highly unique visual experience. When you usually shoot in similar venues, you can also make more use of the on-site top lighting and environmental depth to enhance the spatial sense of the frame.
