[Blanc cosplay] GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE White Rabbit's Happiness Express Has Arrived

At this Firefly Con, I finally got to wear Blanc's Happiness Express outfit from GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE! To authentically capture the White Rabbit's soft cuteness mixed with that playful charm reserved just for the Commander, I put immense care into hair and makeup. For the eye makeup, I chose yellowish-green colored contacts to match the character, dusted with fine shimmer so my eyes stayed clear and luminous even under the intense convention lighting. The wig features dramatically long twin-tails; because of the exaggerated length, they easily tangle with every few steps, and I had to be careful not to step on them. Fortunately, prepping them in advance with anti-static spray and thorough detangling paid off—the hair strands looked beautifully sleek and smooth in the convention photos without flyaway frizz.

The costume details are what I love most. The edges of the white cropped jacket are completely trimmed with plush faux fur that feels incredibly soft, while the metal chain and double-breasted buttons along the lapels lend a structured, uniform-inspired touch. Wearing the jacket open reveals the lace inner layer and waistline, perfectly balanced between cute and sexy when paired with the black denim shorts and semi-sheer Black stockings. I also brought along a fluffy bunny tail accessory that bobbed playfully with each step, adding dynamic energy to the silhouette. To balance the overall proportions, I wore chunky white platform shoes finished with glossy white leg warmers and plush accents. Walking in this setup required extreme care—especially across the floor covered in reflective plastic sheeting where I nearly lost my footing several times, thankfully saved by the photographer's warnings!

During the shoot, the studio area was set up with professional lights and reflectors. To complement the dreamy aesthetic of Happiness Express, snowflake special effects and black reflective ground sheets were arranged on set. I've always viewed Blanc as an energetic white rabbit, so I experimented with poses like kneeling to cup snow, hands on hips, or casually sitting on the floor, fully immersing myself in that relaxed yet slightly mischievous vibe. For expression management, I aimed for an innocent yet confident gaze across both close-up portraits and full-body shots to nail her character presence. Wandering the bustling expo halls in platform shoes was definitely exhausting on my feet, but seeing the final photos made all the fatigue of weaving through crowds melt away. Meeting so many enthusiastic photographers and fellow fans to collaborate on compositions before the lens made the atmosphere absolutely wonderful. I'm currently curating this set and will share more angles and scene details soon.

I also paid special attention to my manicure, choosing long, sculpted nails to add elegance whenever holding bags or posing my hands. The crossbody white mini square bag was handpicked as well, its metal chain catching the light gorgeously in photos. In several shots, cupping snowflakes in my hands or flashing peace signs beside my cheeks naturally channeled Blanc's vivacious personality. Cosplay is never just about wearing an outfit—it's about recreating and reinterpreting every fine detail. Every glance into the lens is a dialogue with the character, a process I cherish deeply, and I hope these photos share that love with all of you.
