Capturing the gentlest spring light, I finally completed this Wang Zhaojun shoot. To restore the agility of this Elf Princess, I put a lot of consideration into the costume texture and accessory details. Especially that touch of forest green, which has great layering under the sunlight, perfectly matching the theme of "Hometown Spring." This Spring cosplay shoot was selected in a lush green park; when scouting locations early on, I was always looking for that atmosphere which is natural but not overwhelming. To grasp Wang Zhaojun's cool yet gentle texture, I made appropriate subtractions in the makeup, focusing on highlighting the clarity of the eyes. During the shoot, some complex ribbons and long skirt hems did require some skill, but seeing the light, elf-like dynamics in the final photos made all the hard work worth it. Especially that skirt hem with leaf elements, which performed exceptionally well in motion capture, and even had a subtle agility while walking. During on-site communication, I also repeatedly discussed angles with the photographer, hoping to maximize the "Forest Guardian" atmosphere in every shot. Although outdoor photography is easily affected by weather, the clouds cleared today, and the light and shadow were very soft, making me really satisfied with this work. As a Cosplayer, I have always liked this kind of role that can integrate into nature and coexist with the environment. Whenever the lens aimed at that moment, I felt as if I had really returned to that vibrant forest and heard the voice of spring. I hope these photos can bring everyone a sense of tranquility and beauty.
