[Maruyama Aya cosplay] BanG Dream! Guangzhou Bang Only Aya Maruyama x Chisato Shirasagi duo stage performance log

Taking the stage at Guangzhou Bang Only once again after a month, this Aya Maruyama x Chisato Shirasagi duo stage by our 'Fox and Cat' pair was thoroughly exhilarating. The massive venue and exceptionally passionate fan support sounded incredible; the 'shuwa shuwa' chants syncing with the audience calls were simply magical, making this collaborative live performance feel purely 'kira-kira.' Hearing Hello, Happy World!'s two tracks was also such a blast. As always, our vocal tones blended seamlessly—just how much Aya-Chisato chemistry did we soak in? The choreography for 'DISCOTHEQUE' was gorgeous and felt amazing to shoot.

Standing on stage, we could clearly feel the sea of glowing penlights and the focused, enthusiastic gazes from below. Our costume details shone brilliantly under the stage lights: the pink idol outfit and the yellow idol outfit, complemented by richly layered skirts and white over-the-knee Stockings cosplay, exuded fluid, airy elegance during dance moves. While performing the setlist, my partner and I dedicated immense effort to blocking and mirrored movements, striving to nail every camera hit cleanly. The waves of fan calls surged non-stop; those 'shuwa shuwa' chants riding the rhythm of the track sent adrenaline surging. Feeling everyone's love for Aya and Chisato, we gave our all on stage to convey the bond and effortless chemistry between the characters. Those sweet, tender moments between them were utterly addicting to experience again.

Every second spent on stage was precious, capturing so many moments of focused eye contact directed at the lens—pure bliss. Regrettably, my expression during the opening MC intro didn't get caught on camera, which is a tiny pity, but leaves something exciting to look forward to next time. Next up is another marathon run of performances—a major trial for the duo, testing both physical endurance and mindset. So grateful for the wish made with our duo, as my paper got accepted, allowing me to take time off properly! It seems our partnership truly brought great fortune.

From the nuances of outfit preparation and the deliberate energy behind every step and dance beat to each shared glance with my partner, we poured everything into delivering the ultimate visual experience for the audience. Even on a convention stage, the equipment, lighting, and crowd enthusiasm rivaled an official live show, keeping us completely immersed throughout. Sweating it out on stage every second was the finest reward for all our recent hard work.
