[Aemeath Cosplay] Wuthering Waves: Summer water play Moments in Swimsuit cosplay

Aemeath swimsuit Ciallo～ This Swimsuit cosplay look of Aemeath from Wuthering Waves is finally ready to meet everyone! The entire shoot preparation was extremely tight. The location was set at an outdoor water park, shooting from the afternoon until dusk, taking the Summer water play atmosphere to the absolute max. The wig was long, straight pink hair, topped with blue-and-white horn-like ornaments and a star-shaped headband. Pink wigs get frizzy and tangled very easily outdoors, so I had to comb it continually between takes, going through more than half a bottle of setting spray just to keep the voluminous fluffiness. For the makeup, to match 2D character features, I chose striking amber contact lenses and laid down a broad base of eyeshadow, deepening the inner and outer corners with reddish-pink tones to accentuate the character's unique liveliness.

The outfit consists of a short-sleeved sailor top made of white sheer tulle over a pink-and-white horizontally striped inner layer; the translucent effect makes the whole styling feel exceptionally airy. A large pale-pink bow is tied at the chest, paired with a pleated micro-miniskirt of matching fabric below. Because the material is so light, shooting by the water meant gusts of wind easily caught the hem, requiring constant vigilance over angles to avoid wardrobe malfunctions. For the legs, I wore semi-translucent White stockings over the knees. The position of the sock bands resting against the thighs needed frequent adjustments to maintain visual proportion while elongating the leg lines.

Shooting poolside was far more demanding than imagined. The tiled edges were a bit rough on the skin; kneeling or sitting on the edge required tightening my core to hold my balance. To capture the splash of water droplets, I immersed my lower body in the pool while leaning my torso over the ledge—a posture that really tested lower back strength. Water refraction and reflections presented tricky challenges for the photographer's autofocus; sometimes, achieving that perfect splash meant throwing my arms up repeatedly. Shooting in the deeper water, the costume became noticeably heavy once soaked, and the sheer translucency shifted, paradoxically adding an authentic, immersive realism. Posing seated on the pool edge with legs extended required sustaining clean leg contours while adjusting my chin angle to prevent harsh facial shadows. Crossing my arms conveyed a subtly tsundere attitude.

Although I was constantly worrying about melting makeup and wig deformation during the shoot, the sheer relaxation of playing in the water is something rarely felt during standard shoots. Water soaked the skirt hem and White stockings, giving them a glistening, wet texture under the light. This Swimsuit cosplay of Aemeath from Wuthering Waves felt so organically aligned in both color palette and setting.
