[Shimakaze cosplay] Kantai Collection swimsuit party, let's go play in the water together

The summer of 2026, as expected, is the time to go swimming with Rensouhou-chan! Although I am still persisting in playing Kantai Collection, seeing the energetic state of Shimakaze and Rensouhou-chan really lets me get into character instantly. For this Swimsuit cosplay, our core goal was to restore that atmosphere of laughing freely on the beach.

During the shooting process, to restore those clear and transparent summer light and shadows, we mainly chose the GFX100S paired with an 80mm f/1.7 lens. Leveraging the super high image quality advantage of the large sensor camera, we were able to capture every trace of water mist, skin texture, and swimsuit folds very delicately. At the same time, to capture broader scene layouts and dynamic moments, the XH2S paired with the 16-55mm f/2.8 II lens also provided very robust resolution and color performance, allowing us to switch freely between different focal lengths.

From the parasol in the scene to the floating lifebuoy, the placement of every prop was intended to build a complete summer paradise. Is Shimakaze in the lens ready to jump into the water to play? This enthusiastic and refreshing Summer atmosphere is exactly the visual core we pursued. I hope to convey this summer energy to everyone through these shots.
