This set of Saigyouji Yuyuko photos taken last year... in the conceptual phase, I really hoped to restore her slightly frivolous and agile girl temperament. After all, the charm of Yuyuko as a character in Touhou Project largely stems from that elusive, even slightly detached agile beauty. But in the final shots, due to light rendering and the cherry blossom background, the result leaned more towards a deep, even somewhat oppressive 'ghostly' texture. This unexpected style shift is actually quite interesting. Visually, the deep blue of the dress and the pink tones of the surrounding cherry blossoms form a strong contrast between warm and cool colors. This conflict is very eye-catching through the lens. In terms of makeup and styling details, I have also been pursuing the ultimate restoration of texture, from the precision of hair color to the layering of dress pleats, hoping to accurately convey the character's core temperament. Although the final atmosphere slightly deviates from the initial anticipation, this subtle shift from 'agile' to 'profound' is perhaps precisely the complex aspect of the character's personality. As a cosplay attempt, this variable gave me a deeper understanding of the character. Between the antique architecture and the flowers, this mysterious atmosphere is indeed the highlight of this work. I hope everyone can see this unique artistic expression.
