Choosing to shoot this set of Ganyu's swimsuit look by the sea this time was actually to recreate a more daily and relaxed holiday state of the Liyue secretary. The design of the Ganyu swimsuit combines the cloud patterns and hanging ornament elements from her original outfit; the dark one-piece suit paired with a translucent white gauze skirt hem maintains character recognizability while being perfect for a Seaside cosplay setting.
The sunlight was just right during the shoot, and the rising and falling of the waves added a sense of dynamism to the frame. When her light blue long hair was blown up by the sea breeze, we snapped a few natural shots, which should let everyone feel a refreshing and cool atmosphere. To fit the character's temperament, the makeup was kept quite clear and translucent, emphasizing the blue-purple gradient of the eye makeup to soften her gaze.
For props, we focused on recreating the black bow and red-and-black horns of the headwear, as well as that iconic red cord tassel; these small details make the overall look more complete. During the shooting process, I tried different positions, such as standing in the shallows letting the seawater cover my ankles, or turning around sideways, all while keeping the actions and emotions as natural as possible. This set of photos aims to convey a sense of relaxation, with no need to be too deliberate—just like the character is truly vacationing at the beach, hoping to restore another side of Ganyu in everyone's hearts as part of this Genshin Impact cosplay experience.
