[Venti Cosplay] Pure White Feathered Archon Form of Genshin Impact's Anemo Archon Barbatos

This was my first time trying an Archon form look featuring an abundance of white feather elements paired with gold metal accessories, and I'm quite satisfied with the overall completion. During the early preparation stages, the design of this costume attracted me deeply—the pure white and cyan-blue color scheme feels fresh yet divine, perfectly matching the temperament of the Anemo Archon.

Shooting this work, the most unforgettable part was the pair of massive white feather wings. Not only were these wings huge in volume, but their actual weight was also quite solid, requiring core strength throughout the entire shoot to maintain perfect balance. In Figure 2, when holding that heavy golden geometric polearm weapon, my movements had to accommodate the physical sway of the wings, which posed high demands for on-site positioning and facial expression management. To present the best effect, I repeatedly adjusted my standing posture in the studio, ensuring the fluffiness of the feathers wasn't squished by the frame. Between shots, the photographer even helped smooth out slightly messy feather edges—teamwork is truly crucial.

Regarding hair and makeup, the short choppy black hair paired with iconic cyan braids on both sides, combined with blue-green contact lenses, allowed my gaze to stay clear and sharp even under strong studio lights. A small white flower accented my forehead, adding a touch of delicacy. The gold breastplate and waist ornaments on my body carried a crisp metallic texture, creating a wonderful material contrast with the soft white fabric. To fit this ethereal yet slightly playful character persona, I didn't intentionally strike a cold expression in the sitting posture of Figure 3; instead, I chose a relatively relaxed pose, pairing it with one leg lifted and the other dangling in mid-air, which naturally showcased the white leg straps and gem details around the ankle.

As for color coordination, white served as the overall keynote, supplemented by large areas of cyan-blue geometric elements—such as patterns on my arms, cyan markings on the side of my thigh, and the weapon's glowing effect area. This contrast allowed the frame to remain lively without feeling monotonous against a clean studio backdrop. The cold white light used by the photographer illuminated my body evenly, perfectly capturing the layered feel of every feather and the metallic reflection of the weapon, while the post-processed light blue gradient background beautifully heightened the theme of sky and wind.

Actually, while preparing this costume, I paid special attention to the tailoring around the waist and abdomen, as this crop-top design heavily tests muscle lines and posture during shooting. To achieve that stretched, relaxed sitting effect in Figure 3, I made some physical adjustments beforehand to make myself look more weightless and confident. The sun wheel on the prop paired with the geometric polearm in hand allowed me to quickly merge into the character's carefree and melodious aura during shooting; this sense of immersion is precisely the unique charm of Genshin Impact cosplay. Overall, it was a deeply gratifying studio shoot, and recording Venti's Archon form in this manner serves as a tribute to the original work.
