This collaborative photo shoot project with my theater female colleague has finally come to fruition. We chose two characters with great contrast: Vodyanitsa and Odette. As a Genshin Impact cosplay, there are truly too many details to talk about in the design of these two outfits.

First, let's talk about the set I was responsible for. The texture of the blue sequin strapless top is extremely striking under the lighting. To restore that fantasy visual effect, I specially paired it with complex golden hollowed-out metal accessories on the chest. The skirt hem on the lower body is a ballet-style puffy skirt, layered with deep blue and light blue fabrics, featuring silver-white prints along the edges. For the completeness of the overall styling, I wore white pantyhose paired with a pair of golden strap-on high-heel sandals. This combination not only elongated the leg lines but also better presented the character's elegance in front of the lens. During the mirror selfie, to find the right lighting and slimming angle, the single-handed akimbo pose was actually held for a long time, while also paying attention to avoiding clutter in the background.

Next, let's look at my colleague from the theater next to me; she is cosplaying Odette cosplay. Her dark green short wig is trimmed very neatly, paired with white bow and flower hair accessories, instantly giving her that quiet approachability. Her costume has a strong sense of layering, with the upper body being a white base garment plus blue geometric pieced armor, and the lower body being a long irregularly cut skirt hem that looks extremely graceful when walking. The close-up lying-down photo actually tests the coordination of both of us; we needed to avoid crushing each other's clothes and props while keeping our facial expressions relaxed. I rested my head on a white plush prop, and my eye makeup specifically deepened the reddish-brown tones to enhance the depth of my gaze.

Wearing and putting on these costumes is truly not easy, especially the tight-fitting waist design and the maintenance of the wigs. That silver-blue wig required us to process the layers in advance with hairspray and a flat iron to present that messy yet orderly feel. For me, this cosplay experience is not only a display of costumes and props, but also an understanding and interpretation of different character personalities. I hope everyone likes this set of works.
