The core focus of this photoshoot was recreating the dynamic tension of the character in combat. In terms of makeup and styling, we mainly focused on layering the pink wig and securely attaching the horn accessories on both sides of the head. Regarding props, that polearm weapon (Heavy weapons) was far heavier than it looked—especially in the first crouching stance, where I had to rely on my right leg for core support and lower my center of gravity to maintain stability while highlighting the sweeping lines of the flared skirt.

The venue lighting was relatively dim with an expansive background, which allowed us to leverage light contrast to make the subject stand out. During shooting, we adjusted reflector positions to emphasize the semi-translucent texture of the white chiffon skirt and the glowing effect on the red weapon blade. For the editing phase, we used Pixel cake for Anime photo retouching. The software greatly enhanced the 2D aesthetic; while refining hair edges and the red glow bloom of the Heavy weapons blade, it also preserved authentic facial skin textures and tuned curve contrasts, making the floating sparks and smoke look more natural.

In designing poses, the first crouching stance featured wide, dynamic movements, which perfectly flattered the leg curves while extending the linear presence of the weapon, complemented by the long pink hair fluttering on the left side of the frame for greater visual punch. The second photo featured a standing posture, intended to showcase the dark waist sash and cross buckle details, as well as the grounded weight of the heavy weapon resting on the floor.

This portrayal emphasized the contrast between the character's sweet younger-sister persona and her fierce combat mode, demanding strict facial expression control with a stern, piercing gaze. For the skirt fabric, breathable chiffon with inner lining was intentionally chosen—lightweight and easy to toss dynamically during shooting. Because the weapon was huge, swinging it easily caused motion blur, so we increased the shutter speed in camera settings to capture crisp, well-composed decisive moments. In post-processing, shadows were intentionally deepened on the legs, complementing the white ground fog to ground the visual weight of the frame.
