[Tsukatsuki Rio Cosplay] Blue Archive Daily Life: Black Suit and Pleated Skirt Snippets from CP32 Anime Convention

At CP32 today, I wore Tsukatsuki Rio's everyday outfit. Preparation time was quite tight, but I did my best to recreate the core black suit jacket and white turtleneck inner layer, combined with the signature black pleated skirt and black pantyhose—the character's vibe instantly clicked into place. For hair, I used straight hair extensions and straight-bang wigs, with hair clips on both sides securely fixed so nothing got messy throughout the day. The ID badge on my chest was a self-made prop; although I wasn't actually working staff at the convention, hanging it on the suit added plenty of setting authenticity. Holding an iPad in hand also fit her impression as a student council president frequently handling data and files.

CP32 had higher foot traffic than expected. Walking around on day one made my legs a bit sore, but wearing loafers with black pantyhose made weaving through expo halls quite convenient, unlike bulky grand gowns that easily trip people up. When taking photos, I intentionally selected wooden backdrops near changing rooms or rest areas; under warm lighting, the black suit texture looked sophisticated without reflecting harsh glare like direct outdoor sunlight. What satisfied me most about this ensemble was the black-white-red color balance—though mostly black and white, the sleek suit tailoring highlighted body proportions via waist-cinching, and the short skirt length hit just right: not awkwardly short, yet not too long to lose her crisp, efficient aura.

Many fellow enthusiasts came over for photo exchanges, and appreciation for Rio's everyday uniform look was quite high. Compared to combat gear, this Black pantyhose uniform style feels closer to daily life and easier to recreate. Rather than forcing complex poses, I maintained my most natural state and snapped a cosplay selfie with the phone front camera to record both the complete outfit and background environment.

Regarding cosplay, accuracy is certainly important, but feeling the character's presence while wearing the outfit matters even more. A black suit indeed creates a calm illusion; while I'm not overly serious normally, I held back expressions to appear focused and align with Rio's style. The wig length and bang thickness trimmed my face shape nicely, focusing visual attention on eye makeup, which combined with the white turtleneck to generate an academic atmosphere.

CP32's hall setup was full of character, with wooden hangers and warm lights making ideal photography backdrops. Given another chance to cosplay this character, I might refine accessories—such as upgrading the ID card lanyard to fine leather and swapping black pantyhose for a sheerer texture. Overall, this CP32 Tsukatsuki Rio project wrapped up smoothly, and I look forward to wearing this to future conventions.
