This time I'm cosplaying Saiba Midori from the Game Development Department in Blue Archive. Looking at my scene on the sofa, doesn't it look a lot like her cozy and slightly lazy vibe in the game? I did my best to restore the iconic black-and-green cat ears and the ruffled skirt hem in the costume. To fit the character's personality, I specially chose slightly cool tones for the makeup to make my gaze look a bit sharper. The halo above my head and the cat tail behind my back are also perfectly in place, making the shoot exude that signature sly and teasing vibe.

Doing a Blue Archive cosplay really requires a lot of detail control, like trimming the wig, the stitching of the costume, and the restoration of props—all of these coming together can better present the character. This home setting especially tests one's expressiveness because the actions are very everyday, like playing games with a Switch or staring blankly while holding a throw pillow. During post-processing, I also paid special attention to preserving the skin texture and costume folds without over-smoothing, making this Anime girl look more authentic and natural. I really enjoy the process of using the lens to capture the most natural state of a character, and I hope this set of photos can convey that cute, slightly calculating everyday feel of Saiba Midori.
