The convention photos came out smoothly, and the patent leather texture under the flash lights is definitely on point. This set of photos mainly revolves around the "little black cat cosplay" setting and an overall dark, sharp style. The black patent leather outfit shows excellent gloss under the studio's intense lighting, fully bringing out the garment's texture and silhouette. Paired with red contact lenses and bright red lip makeup, it adds a hint of danger and playfulness to the coldness, perfectly fitting the "sharp-tongued" character setting.

This time, I brought two simple props: a white circular plush rug and a black metal step stool. The white rug serves as a perfect visual highlight, preventing the entirely black clothing from blending into the dark background. The sitting posture in Figure 3 is the one I am personally quite satisfied with; sitting on the step stool with legs naturally extended beautifully showcases the combination of fishnet stockings, leather straps, and over-the-knee high-heeled boots. The overall proportions look very long and slender, and the composition is well-centered.

The photographer, @Pulao411, is very skilled at controlling light. Patent leather is actually very prone to overexposure under flash units, requiring constant adjustments to the lighting angles to capture this effect that is both glossy and rich in details. Across the six photos, I experimented with standing, crouching, sitting, and prostrating postures, mainly to embody the character's tsundere nature and pride. During the shoot, the surrounding foot traffic was quite heavy, making the background a bit cluttered, but the photographer completely highlighted the portrait using a wide aperture and the right focal length.

Regarding the makeup and hair styling, the detailed stray hairs of the wig were handled very naturally. The beast ears and fluffy tail have some weight when worn, but for the final outcome, I had to hold still and stay firm. The comfort of the patent leather outfit is actually quite limited, especially in a crowded convention environment; wearing it for just two or three hours already felt very hot and stuffy. But seeing the final results makes all the hard work worth it. Especially with this kind of clothing that carries strong gloss and structural silhouettes, combined with the lighting atmosphere of the convention venue, it beautifully conveys the character's unique eccentricity.

Every time I shoot such highly reflective materials, it feels like opening a blind box. Until the final edited photos are out, it's hard to completely grasp the texture of every beam of light hitting the clothes. This set of photos captures the light, shadow, and character expressions quite well, and the post-processing also preserved the original material texture of the patent leather without over-editing. As convention photos, being able to naturally recreate the feeling witnessed at that moment is the best presentation.
