[Cyrene Cosplay] Photoshoot Record from Beijing miHoYo Only - Image 2

Successfully checked in as Cyrene at Beijing miHoYo Only today. The pink of the hair is very soft with a bit of fine shimmer under the sunlight. The hairclips and hat create a fresh sense of layering, and combined with the purplish-pink eye makeup and colored contacts, the entire makeup has a great brightening effect. The holographic material of the jacket reflects differently under indoor and outdoor light. The inner pink bowtie and crop top combination really accentuates my body proportions, and along with the white slouch socks and platform shoes, the overall look appears visually lightweight.

For this outdoor shoot, I mainly wanted to try a magazine style. I've looked at many photo sets of Cyrene before; the matching details of the clothes and accessories are quite extensive. The outdoor light was ample, beautifully capturing the layers of the hair and the texture of the clothes. The facial close-up clearly shows the echo between the eye makeup and lip color, and the contouring on the jawline is quite clean, avoiding a muddy look. The mirror selfie happens to showcase the completeness of the entire outfit. The color-shifting effect of the holographic jacket under light and shadow was a pleasant surprise. However, since the phone covered my face, I still chose the first face-revealing close-up as the cover photo this time, as it feels more atmospheric.

While walking around the venue, many fellow fans recognized this character's style, and there was quite a lot of discussion about the wig and makeup details. This pink wig has a lot of volume, so handling the bangs required quite some precision, but luckily, casual cosplay maintenance isn't too difficult. My biggest impression of wearing this outfit to attend Mijia Only is that the color scheme is the kind of design that looks striking at first glance but doesn't actually feel out of place. The sheen of the holographic jacket is even more vibrant under indoor neon lights than outdoors. I slightly adjusted the fabric belt tied around my waist to give the overall look a better drape. I didn't actually bring many props out this time, relying mainly on the layers and colors of the clothes to carry the character's temperament. It's actually quite practical for casual cosplay streetwear or getting convention photos. For friends who want to try this character's cosplay, I recommend putting more effort into the color matching of the base makeup and eyeshadow. When matched well, the pink palette won't make your skin look dull; instead, it delivers a sweet yet cool texture.
